I've been increasingly dissatisfied with the term "capitalism". It seems to suggest that capital is more important than people, and in a sense, under our current form of capitalism, it is. But people should have more rights than money itself. And people are more important than monetary growth. The problem with monetary growth, purely for the sake of growth, is that monetary growth is inherently limited by the natural upper limits on growth, which are probably not much more than about 2.5% per year. After all, if you could grow faster than that rate, you could grow an ounce of gold into all the gold in the world over 6000 years, which would completely negate the usefulness of money if one person had it all. Money is useful only if it is distributed or capable of being distributed among the people in ways that enable and facilitate commerce.

By the phrase "people should have more rights than money", I mean to say that people's rights to property are far more important than a banker's right to collect usury at rates of 6% from the nations of the world through money lending, which can only result in the destruction of property rights and the enslavement of the people of the world, which is contrary to property rights, contrary to freedom, and contrary to what capitalism should be. To find a balance in this area, I have turned to the study of what the Bible has to say about money, and usury. These days, a consensus seems to be developing among many of the key analysts that have been accurately understanding and predicting why silver and gold will move up in price.

The consensus is that gold and silver prices, having been limited in recent months, are ready to explode or move upwards again. It always moves in cycles, and the next big cycle movement is probably up.

In fact, silver has been moving up strongly over the last three days, and this could be the start of another run that could take silver to well beyond $50/oz. to perhaps $75/oz. this next time over the next 6 months to a year.

The biggest reason why I think silver and gold will continue to move up in price for over the next decade is that the nations of the world are printing money at rates of about 15% to 20% per year. These rates are unsustainable, and will result in a collapse of the values of paper money, which can only mean exponentially higher rates of growth in the values of silver and gold which will probably continue to go up at rates of about 30-50% per year, or even faster.

What Should the Gold Price Be?!

(So many ways to calculate!)

You will often read how various experts in the financial press will say that the gold price "should be" about $2000/oz., to $3000/oz., or slightly higher. But what they almost never say is how they arrived at their figures, and what assumptions they are making.

The reality is that the gold price, today, given today's conditions, should be about what it is right now.

But conditions are likely to change, and change dramatically, and can change very quickly. The conditions that are mostly like to change the most quickly are people's perceptions and understanding of the reality of the dangers of theft due to inflation.

The US Federal Government is spending about $1.6 trillion more than they take in from taxes, which is $1600 billion, which is $1,600,000 million, which is $1,600,000,000,000 dollars. The news on TV this morning said that the US national debt increased by $400 billion in the last 3 months, which confirms the numbers. They are not able to fix this problem anytime soon. This problem could not be fixed even if they taxed incomes at rates of 100% per year. And they are mostly just printing this money, which creates inflation, which means that prices will go up, for everything, including, and especially, for silver and gold.

Today, very few people in the USA understand that they need silver and gold, and that is likely to change, and historically, those kinds of attitude changes happen very quickly, which result in dramatic and very sudden increases in the prices of silver and gold.

Today, in the USA, only about $3.5 billion is being spent annually on silver, (estimated at 100 million oz. x about $35/oz.) and only about $3.4 billion is being spent annually on physical gold (estimated at 2 million oz. at about $1700/oz.), for a total of only about $7 billion spent on precious metals to protect itself from inflation.

But the USA has about $18 trillion of cash, savings, and short term bonds in the banking system, which can also be expressed as $18,000 billion, $18,000,000 million, or $18,000,000,000,000 dollars.

So, mathematically the reality is that new money creation is about $1600 billion, out of $18,000 billion, which is an annual increase of nearly 9%, and yet only $7 billion out of $1600 billion of new money creation is being spent on precious metals, which is only 0.4%, or expressed another way, is only $1 out of every $229 dollars of newly created money being spent on silver and gold, and only $1 out of $2,571 of money in the banks is being spent on silver and gold, which is only 4% of 1%.

So, currently, this is next to nothing compared to the avalanche of money that is going to be spent on silver and gold.

So, we could ask ourselves the following questions:

1. What is likely to happen to the gold price in the event that 1% of money in the USA were to be spent on gold and silver in a year.

2. What if 10% of the money in the USA were spent on gold and silver in a year?

3. "What if 10% of the money in the world were spent on gold and silver in a year?"

4. "What if 100% of all paper money had were to be spent on gold and silver in a year?"

5. "What if 100% of US paper money had to be backed by all the official US gold?"

6. "What if 100% of US paper money had to be backed by all the US gold that the US government is likely to have left?"

See, the gold price will be dramatically different, given the different assumptions, as follows.

First question. What if 1% of money in the USA were to be spent on gold and silver in a year? Money in US banks is about $18 trillion. 1% is $180 billion. This is 26 times what the USA currently spends on silver and gold, which is only $7 billion. The entire world annual gold market production is about 75 million oz.. The USA buys only about 2 million oz. of that. The USA spends about half on silver, and half on gold. What if that continues? Well, if the US spent $90 billion on gold, at $1700/oz., that would be 53 million ounces. Clearly that kind of new demand would push up the price, probably to triple the current price, taking the gold price to $5100/oz. For silver, $90 billion at $35/oz. would buy 2.6 billion ounces. But here we have a major problem. World silver production is only 0.7 billion ounces, or 700 million ounces. Furthermore, there is no large above ground stockpile of silver, as most has been consumed by industry, and furthermore, most of the silver market is already being consumed by industry, leaving very little left over for investors to bid over, which is only about 150 million oz. left over for investors. But let's assume that industry gets squeezed out, leaving 300 million oz. available for investors who wish to spend $90 billion on silver. This gives us an easy calculation for the price, which is $90 billion divided by 300 million, or .3 billion. So, 90 / .3 = $300/oz. for silver.

But those numbers are extremely unrealistic. Only 1% spending money on silver and gold? Really? Not likely, it's likely to be far more. Conditions of inflation are only likely to change when interest rates are as high as the annual increase in the silver and gold prices, which are above 20% per year. After all, why earn 1% in bonds if you can earn 20% in gold?

Second question. What if 10% of money in the USA were to be spent on gold and silver in a year? This would be $1800 billion. Half into gold would be $900 billion. With world annual production at 75 million oz. If the USA bought half of world production, that would be only 37.5 million oz. $900,000 million / 37.5 million oz. is $24,000/oz. for gold. If $900 billion were to be spent on half of world annual silver production, that would be only 350 million oz., which would lead to a price of $2,571/oz. for silver.

Third question. What if 10% of money in the world were to be spent on gold and silver in a year? World money is about $60 trillion. 10% would be $6 trillion. If half were to be spent on total world gold production, that would be $3 trillion spent on 75 million oz., which leads to a price of $40,000/oz. for gold. If $3 trillion were spent on 700 million oz. of world annual silver production, that leads to a price of $4,286/oz. for silver.

Now, the interesting thing about rising prices, is that they tend to attract more money, because everyone wants in on it. People today who think silver is expensive at $35, will be scrambling to buy silver as it just keeps relentlessly climbing. For two reasons. First, they will recognize that dollars are just used paper, like newsprint, and they will be fearful to hold them as their values just keep going down, and fast. Second, they will want to become wealthy, and they will see that they only way to do that is through owning real wealth of silver and gold. So, this leads us to the inevitable question, the 4th question, what happens when the entire US money supply is spent on silver and gold, over a nice, slow pace, of over an entire year. Now, think about that again. This is still well before hyperinflation really kicks in, well before people are spending their entire paychecks on silver and gold the instant that they get paid, and well before the government starts printing new money with several more zeroes at the end of it.

So, 4th question, what if 100% of US money is spent on silver and gold in a year? $18 trillion, or $18,000 billion. Half for gold is $9,000 billion, spent on, say 2/3rds of world gold production of 75 million oz., would be 50 million oz. $9,000,000 million spent on 50 million oz. leads to a price of $180,000/oz. for gold. And if $9,000 billion is spent on 2/3 of world annual silver production of 700 million oz., which is 467 million oz., that would be $19,272/oz. for silver.

But let's assume that the US government tried to prevent that from happening. Let's assume that the government would be smart enough to back all US currency with the official US gold, at a rate that would give the dollar a 100% gold backing. (I know, kind of a crazy assumption to assume that the government would be smart, but let's assume anyway.) The point of considering these numbers is that, in theory, the US government could stop runaway inflation with a 100% gold backing and a balanced budget, but given today's political climate, that's currently impossible. But let's say the Tea Party wins a full sweep of both houses of congress and we get Ron Paul as president, and let's assume that instead of trying to return to the gold standard, he tries to simply prevent runaway inflation with full 100% gold backing all dollars in all US bank accounts. It's a very simple calculation $18 trillion divided by 261 million oz. of official US gold = $68,966/oz. Given the previous calculations, silver could hit a 10 to 1 ratio to gold, which would be about $7,000/oz. This is what the gold and silver prices "should" be, given the givens of honesty, and living up to the basic pledge of FDIC "government" insurance on all bank accounts.

Ah, but finally, many people reasonably expect that the US has already sold off a lot of the official gold to protect and defend the dollar at current low gold prices, which is more consistent with government reality and stupidity and rising gold prices. In that event, the dollar is like burnt toast, and there will be no stopping the coming runaway gold price increases.

Are you upset that the courts won't consider Obama's Constitutional Eligibility because the courts continually rule that the persons suing don't have standing? Perhaps only the States have standing, since they are parties to the Constitution.

But there's a way around those issues! Here's a plan to force the Federal courts to give the issue a hearing.

Here's the idea: Make a contract (review the contract with a lawyer, first) with a friend or family member who lives in another state of the Union (to make it a Federal jurisdiction contract dispute) that says that you will give them $80,000 (federal minimum dollar dispute) if they prove that Obama is not Constitutionally eligible to be president of the USA. Let the contract be legit, say, for information for a book, rather than simply a bet. Bets and gambling can be ruled as not valid contracts. Legitimate research is legit. This will create a valid and legal contract dispute that Federal courts will have to hear.

So, let your friend or family member research it and prove that Obama is not eligible. For example, present to you basic information that Obama's father was not a US Citizen, such as the following:

An English-language translation of Emerich de Vattel's treatise The Law of Nations (original French title: Le Droit du gens), states that "The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country of parents who are citizens".

Vatel's treatise, The Law of Nations, is even cited in the US Constitution in Article 1, section 8.

Article 1, section 8:
To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offenses against the Law of Nations;

Furthermore, The Law of Nations is repeatedly cited in Blackstone's commentaries on common law. And, the Supreme Court has ruled, in Schick vs. The United States, that the Constitution must be read in light of the common law.

So, after it's proved, then the next step. You default on payment to your friend or family member. Refuse to pay them for their research. Then, let them sue you in Federal court to collect. Then, the judges will have to hear the merits of the case, or, at least, your friend will be able to file it in Federal court.

Why do I think this is an important issue?

Because we can hack at the root of all of Obama's horrible policies at once. Why hack at the branches, or individual actions instead, when you can get rid of Obama entirely? Hack at the root!

Same principle on why I advocate silver as money. It's hacking at the root.

Why moan about inflation? Why advocate that they end the fed? Why advocate that the Fed should raise interest rates, or print less money, or end bail outs for the bankers, or cut back wasteful government spending? Why moan at all? Just buy silver. It's so much more powerful of a way to make the world better, especially your own world.

But after buying silver, you might find yourself bored, and wanting to file a Federal lawsuit. After all, the more people who do, the more it can help change the world for the better.

(5 Stages of Grief over the Loss of the Dollar!)

Psychologists tell us that there are five stages of grief over loss of whatever kind, usually death, or breaking up with a loved one, which are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. I've applied these to the loss of the dollar, as I see most people today are still stuck in denial, and here's how to deal with that.

Denial. Most people in America are in total denial. But the dollar is done. Most probably don't think it's done, because we all still use dollars to buy things. But do you notice prices going up? That's the key sign that the dollar is done. The dollar is abandoning you, the dollar does not care about you, and you have to deal with it. People in denial will repeat the many lies taught to us all by the media and schools. The most popular of these delusions are, in order, "gold is too high now," "how would I sell it," "gold bugs are crazy," "I'm not sophisticated enough to invest in gold," and the classic denial line, "I don't want to hear anymore about gold."

Back in Dec. 2009, the most popular statement of denial was "gold is too high now", and that was when gold was $1200/oz. Today, almost two years later, gold is $1785, and climbing. Clearly, everyone who thought gold had topped out were simply in denial.

To get past denial you must accept the truth of sayings such as, "democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on who to eat for dinner", and realize that our founding fathers never gave us a democracy, but rather, a republic, because they hated democracy, which is nothing more than mob rule. Democracies are inherently unstable, because when the people understand that they can vote for themselves benefits out of the public treasury, then it's over. Why is it over at that point? Because with socialism, eventually you run out of other people's money to redistribute. And then, to pay for things, the only way to do that is to print money, which will destroy the dollar. America hit all those points back in 1933. That was a long time ago, and that's when we abandoned the gold standard. You should also realize that Obama is not as scary as the electorate who voted for him in the first place. Obama may come and go, but the stupidity of our fellow Americans is probably still with us, don't deny it. Acknowledge reality, accept it, and deal with it. Best way to cope? Anger. Very few of my readers have hit the anger stage. Not even many prospective silver or gold buyers have hit this stage. Some anger is out there, as it's manifesting itself in the Tea Party movement, and now in the Occupy Wall Street movement, but those are still very small movements. They will get bigger. To get past the anger stage, move towards feelings of pity. Pity those who are not smart enough to buy silver, because they are the ones who will be wiped out. Pity even the bankers with their billions and billions of dollars, because the silver market is still too small for them to buy into it, and as deceivers, they are self-deceived, too. Pity them. But you won't be wiped out, because you have silver, right? Right?? Well, not many in the Tea Party or Occupy Wall street movements have silver, but that's because they are still stuck in the anger stage. Get past it. Buy silver.

Bargaining. This is not about using silver to bargain for things. It's about thinking you can fix things. At this stage, you may think that you can get involved in politics to try to fix the dollar. Nope. It's way beyond that. Donations to Ron Paul's campaign will not save the dollar. In fact, Ron Paul might help to destroy the dollar even faster, even if he is capable of reducing government spending. But even if Ron Paul were to become president, there is still congress, who would keep spending, and who is a reflection of the will, the selfishness, and the delusions of the American people. Or, perhaps you may think that you can find numerous investments that will outpace the decline of the dollar, so that you can buy more gold and silver. Well, I certainly thought this way for a while. Occasionally, I still do. But overall, the dollar has to decline against something, and that something is really just gold and silver. To get past the bargaining stage, invest over half of your assets or net worth into silver and gold.

Depression. This is not about economic depression, it's about your feeling depressed and sad over the death of the dollar. Many people erroneously believe that if the dollar dies, there will be economic calamity (because that's the lie that supports the dollar), but recent history shows that's not true. After gold went up in 1980, it was economic boom times, as so much fraud was wrung out of the system. Also, when the dollar really dies, many people who were on the dole will become despondent. Many people who receive government entitlements do not feel they are on the dole, they really feel entitled to the money; they are still in denial, and still voting to make sure they get the handouts like social security, etc. Hey seniors, social security is bankrupt, congress raided the funds years ago, and there is zero money backing it up these days; they are printing new money to pay you, and this won't last forever. When that flow of funds is cut off, people are going to be depressed, and until they get jobs, so will the economy. To help deal with that stage, buy silver. If you are on any sort of fixed income, or government assistance, you need to buy silver more than anyone else, because silver will keep you fed when the flow of funds is cut off.

Acceptance. Eventually, you will realize that we will all be better off without the dollar. Debts will be wiped out. Banks and usury slavery will collapse. Government size, largesse, corruption and theft will dramatically decrease. Businesses will flourish. It's not like after war, when entire cities, buildings, and people will be destroyed; but rather, ownership of assets will simply change hands, and life will go on. A lot of people "on disability" have tried to get a job working for me. Most people can work, they just don't want to, especially if they don't have to. Older people actually live longer if they keep working. Retirement is a cruel joke. I could have retired 7 years ago, but why? It's more important to keep helping people. Ministry, service, & working keeps you young, keeps you going, gives life meaning and purpose. The dying dollar can't be saved. But individual people, who have stacks of dollars, still can be saved; just get them into silver! So, I hope you can see why I've opened up a bullion dealership. The resurrection is everything! If God can bring the dead back to life, how much more easily can he heal broken hearts, and raise the spiritually dead back into communion with Him? Even my little boy Jude, age 3, has told me that he can pray to God, who he knows is his Father in heaven, who can help him not be sad anymore!

Before you react in knee-jerk fashion, and accuse me without cause, and without reading, and claim that "Halloween is Pagan" (Pagan meaning gentile, or "of the nations", or heathen, polytheistic, non religious, or uncivilized), please read all of the following research, which I have conducted into this topic over 11 years.

I believe Halloween is a tradition of the Lost Tribes of Israel, specifically, the Feast of Trumpets and/or Rosh Hashanna, and is a prophetic rehearsal of the Christian resurrection of the dead.

The door is a symbol of Jesus, and the candy is a symbol of heaven.

I have identified 9 comparisons between Halloween and the Biblical Feast of the Lord, the Feast of Trumpets. Bear with me, the proof is all in this article. Last year, when I sent out this article, good meaning Christians accused me, "learn not the way of the heathen". Excuse me, we all know the symbols of Halloween here in America, and I'm using them to teach about the symbols and ways of the Lord now.

I believe the meaning of 4 key Halloween symbols, are as follows:

The door is a symbol of Jesus.
The candy is a symbol of heaven.
The dressing up as skeletons, zombies, and ghouls are a symbol of those who will be resurrected.
The jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins carved out with a candle light in them, are a symbol of the dead being filled with the light of the Holy Spirit.

It's called Halloween, because it's the Hallowed Eve, or "Holy Evening". The word "Hallowed" is a Biblical word, as in "Hallowed be thy name," from the Lord's prayer.

It's practiced on the evening of the last day of the month, because in the Bible, the day begins at dusk. "And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day." from Genesis 1.

The Biblical Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanna, begins on the first day of the seventh month, on the new moon. Num 29:1, Lev 23:24

Rosh Hashanna is celebrated by Jews today, and usually falls in mid September, on the day of the new moon. The new moon is always the start of the month, on the Hebrew Lunar calendar. Therefore, every new month really begins on the evening, at dusk, of the last day of the month.

Halloween starts on the evening, dusk, on the Gregorian Calendar, on October 31st, which is when the kids go out door to door to get candy.

I believe this festival was practiced, in some related form, by the Ten Lost tribes of Israel who were exiled 720 years before Christ. Thus, they likely do not know who they are, nor do they even know the prophetic Christian symbology of the feast, since they did not yet have the New Testament to explain the symbols when they were exiled.

Halloween has many similarities to the Biblical Feast of Trumpets, which, today, is called Rosh Hashanna, and is practiced by the Ashkenazi Jews, who are thought to be of the two southern tribes of Israel, Judah, with whom the Northern tribes had a dispute prior to exile.

Christian missionaries have began noting the similarities between Halloween and the Biblical Feast for centuries.

When I first started my research ten years ago, wikipedia did not even exist; so I'm getting excited by what I'm learning today.

The wikipedia article on Rosh Hashanna does not teach all of the Biblical symbols of the Biblical Feast of the Lord, because the Jews today still reject Jesus, and thus, reject the teachings of the New Testament, which greatly aid in the understanding of the prophetic themes of the Feast of Trumpets.

Christians today mostly don't know about these themes either, because they mostly reject the law, and reject things that are considered "Jewish", such as the Feasts of the Lord.

Furthermore, most Christians condemn Halloween as a pagan holiday that calls undue attention to the dead, somehow forgetting that the essence of Christianity is the resurrection of the dead.

Most Biblical researchers don't know about these things either, because the Bible does not say very much about how to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, nor does it explicitly say much about the meaning of the symbols.

But here are a few scriptures that I've gathered together that do explain a few themes about this Feast of the Lord.

One of the themes of the Feast of Trumpets is the Wedding; as the Church is married to Jesus. So, here are my studies on the Marriage in Scripture, as it relates to the prophecy of the rapture.

The wedding or marriage as a theme is something that is not seemingly related, or not a part of it, if you simply study the Jewish Rosh Hashanna.

(Even American Wedding Traditions have a similar theme of going through the door to heaven: The Husband carries the new Bride through the door, across the threshhold, into their hew "heavenly" life together.)

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

The wedding does not appear to be a key theme of Halloween. However, in Mexico, among the prostitutes and drug dealers, there is a celebration called the "day of the Dead". They dress up a skeleton as a bride, with a lantern, and eat candy skulls.

The picture of five wise virgins and five foolish brides with lanterns is shown in Matthew 25:1-13. I have a study on why that parable is a picture of the rapture, here:

Why are the so-called "ungodly" people in Mexico observing this holiday? Well, those are the kinds of people God often speaks to, and calls to him.

Jesus said to the religious leaders of his day, "tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you." Matthew 21:31-32.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29
26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.

Let's examine the main themes of Halloween, starting with candy.

Candy is associated with the celebration of the Feast of Trumpets, as shown by Nehemiah 8:1-10: 10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, --"

I wonder, how did Nehemiah know that about sweets, when the Bible never directly says to eat sweets on this day? The answer must be tradition.

Candy apples are a tradition of both Halloween and Rosh Hashanna.

Nehemiah wasn't the only man in the Bible to observe this feast.

The Bible says that Joseph in Egypt made it a decree to celebrate this day. That was about 400 years before Moses gave the law in Numbers and Leviticus. Interestingly, it does not say this in Genesis, but in the Psalms!

Pss 81:3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
Pss 81:4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
Pss 81:5 He made it a decree in Joseph, when he went out over the land of Egypt. I hear a voice I had not known:

Many Biblical practices and traditions pre-date the law of Moses. Animal sacrifice and marriage do, too.

Some people think Jesus was against traditions. But Jesus said, "Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."

In other words, if traditions that invalidate the word of God are bad, then the corollary of that would be that traditions that validate the word of God, such as Halloween and the Feasts of the Lord, such as the Feast of Trumpets, would be good!

What's the next symbol of Halloween, the door?

Jesus is the door. John 10:9 "I am the door"

On the new moon (the start of the month, which is when the Feast of Trumpets falls on), every month, at the start of the month, the door of the temple is to be opened.

Ezek 46:1 "Thus says the Lord GOD: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut on the six working days; but on the Sabbath day it shall be opened and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

The door is also a symbol in the parable of the virgins in Matt 25:1-13, and in Revelation 3-4, key rapture verses.

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

To Philadelphia:
Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Rev 3:10 Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

Next Halloween symbol, the skeletons. Dry bones are mentioned also in Ezekiel as a starting point of the resurrection in Ezekiel 37:1-11. The passage reads as if it is a scene right out of a modern zombie movie.

The Valley of Dry Bones

1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."
4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' "

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

11 Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.' "

Another Halloween theme, is the jack-o-lanterns.

Again, revisiting Matthew 25:1-13, we read about the importance of keeping the lamps lit. Lamps that are lit are symbolic of readiness for the return of the Lord, and are a symbol of being filled with the Holy Spirit. The symbol of the door is also highlighted in this passage.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Matthew 25 1"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 "At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!
7 "Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8 The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
9" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
10 "But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 "Later the others also came. 'Sir! Sir!' they said. 'Open the door for us!'
12 "But he replied, 'I tell you the truth, I don't know you.'
13 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Not knowing the day or hour is also a description of the Feast of Trumpets. The new moon falls on every 29 and a half days. Thus, there is slight uncertainty on which day it might exactly fall, especially if the observance of the prior new moon was hidden by clouds.

Hiding is also a theme of this Feast.

A bride hides her face with a veil.

Kids mask their faces with costumes.

Believers will be "hid" in heaven for 7 years, the length of the tribulation. And here are three passages on that:

Zeph 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.

Pss 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

So, that's a summary of the themes.

Here are other cultures, and other versions of this feast.

In Mexico, they actually hid their observance of this feast until recently.

Daniel also said that in the last days, knowledge would increase.

Halloween is also related to All Saint's Day and the Celtic feast, Samhain.

Rosh Hashanna is, according to the Jews, the new year.

Samhain is also the new year to the Celts.

The Gaelic custom of wearing costumes and masks, was an attempt to copy the spirits or placate them. In Scotland the dead were impersonated by young men with masked, veiled or blackened faces, dressed in white.[7][8] Samhnag — turnips which were hollowed-out and carved with faces to make lanterns — were also used to ward off harmful spirits.[8]

The Gaelic festival became associated with the Christian All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, and has hugely influenced the secular customs now connected with Halloween, a name first attested in the 16th century as a Scottish shortening of the fuller All-Hallows-Even.[9] Samhain continues to be celebrated as a religious festival by some Neopagans.[4][10]

Samhain is a Celtic festival. Some scholars say the Celts are one of the ten lost tribes of Israel.

The Celts are Israelites Under Another Name.

That would mean that the Celts, the Lost Israelites, likely had customs and feasts that are likely similar to the original Feasts of the Lord.

The main Biblical symbol that is missing in Halloween is the trumpet.

But there is a symbol of a Cornucopia, a "horn of plenty" in Northern America that is often associated with the fall feast known as Thanksgiving. The Cornucopia is a twisted horn, and originally said to be a goat's horn, which is very similar to the ram's horn, or Shofar, used in Rosh Hashanna.

In the wikipedia article on Halloween, they show that they knew this was a day the dead can come to life, which is a description of the resurrection, but historians don't even know why kids dress up for Halloween, only theorizing that they did so to ward off evil spirits.

"The ancient Celts believed that the border between this world and the Otherworld became thin on Samhain, allowing spirits (both harmless and harmful) to pass through. The family's ancestors were honoured and invited home while harmful spirits were warded off. It is believed that the need to ward off harmful spirits led to the wearing of costumes and masks. Their purpose was to disguise oneself as a harmful spirit and thus avoid harm."

The Feasts of the Lord are commemorations, rehearsals, like a play.

The people are supposed to play out what is supposed to happen on this prophetic day.

On this day, Jesus will return, and raise the dead, and take them to be his bride, (changing them to immortality, like superheroes) and take them to heaven through himself, as he is the door.

To play that out, kids dress up as the dead, and go door to door (to Jesus) and get candy (heaven).

Trick or treating is a means by which the custom continues, because if you don't play along, and give out candy to the kids, you get the trick instead, and get punished.

The original trickster was Jacob (Israel), who dressed up as his hairy brother Esau, to gain the birthright from the old Issac.

So, what does all of this mean?

I think this is cultural evidence that Americans and those who celebrate Halloween and similar festivals are the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel.

I think these festivals provide further confirming cultural evidence of the reliability of the Bible, and the reliability of the meaning of the symbols and themes of the rapture, as interpreted in light of the symbols of the Feast of Trumpets and Halloween.

I believe that God directly provides direct and continued inspiration to cultures who are willing to listen, and that these are the Feasts of the Lord, and that the Lord will have HIS feasts observed, period.

Jesus himself said at the prophetic event of his entry into Jerusalem, "the rocks would cry out" if the people did not.

Luke 19:37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

There is certainly a lot more that can be learned on this topic.

Who am I as to be so audatious or bold as to make these claims and associations?

I'm merely a guy who has been preaching about honest money for the past ten years, in a culture that is 99.9% deceived about the nature of money. I'm used to teaching things that should be common sense, but are unknown, or hidden.

What does this article have to do with silver? Good question.

It's my hope that this article reinforces the reality of the truths of Scripture. That the Israelites were not just a people in an old dusty book, but that we are their descendants, and that we have unknowingly kept to certain traditions that prove that to be true. I hope that you find that the Bible is a book of truths, that God is real.

After the resurrection, what kind of life will it be? God will wipe away all evil, and stop fraud and theft on a national and institutionalized scale, so that people will be able to enjoy the fruit of their labors. (Isaiah 65) Thus, there will not be any such thing as paper money fraud in God's world. Instead, there will be silver, and gold.

If we are the people of the Bible, and if the Bible is real, then we ought to take it seriously. I do.

On Friday morning, I wrote about a stock, and it went up 73% that day from 11 cents to 19 cents/share.

Please be careful. I know the stock is a good deal. However, at the present time, I recommend that nobody bid more than 20 cents/share for the stock.  There are several reasons.

The most important reason is that the company needs to raise money, up to $125 million. Paradoxically, it can get harder to raise money if the share price goes too high, too fast, for several reasons.

First, great investment opportunities are great when the price is low. When the price is much higher, the investment returns are less. So, just as you don't like paying too much for the stock when you buy it on the open market from an online broker, so also, neither do big money investors want to pay too much when they buy stock directly from the company. In other words, if you, my readers, bid the stock price too high, too soon, without letting the company raise money, it's self defeating, because we don't want our shares to have no more value than a ponzi scheme if the company is not fully funded, permitted, and ready to begin mining. Getting fully funded is crucial to enable the stock price to grow from $1 to $10/share!

Second, the company has to raise up to $125 million. Typically, the largest investors come on board last, when most of the risk has been removed from the project; but they also expect to obtain a large percentage ownership of the project, too. And that big money is needed if the project is to move forward and generate profits for all the shareholders.

In other words, it's hard for a $300 million market cap company with only $5 million raised so far, to raise $100 million, but it's easier for a $100 million market cap company, with $50 million already raised, to raise $100 million, because in the latter case, the last investors end up owning 1/2 of the company or more, instead of only 1/4 of the company. The point is that a good rule of thumb is that a development company should have about half as much cash on hand as the market cap.

In this case, Emgold is just finishing up a $1 million private placement, at 10 cents per share. But Emgold has 38 million shares out; and now, at 19 cents, has a market cap of about $7 million. So, the company should not only finish their current private placement, but also, the company should immediately open up a new one, and raise about $2.5 to $3 million at a new, higher price, of about 80% of the current share price, or about 15 cents per share.

It can be a problem if the stock price runs up too fast, because then it might be harder to raise the needed funds to continue the development of the project, on which, ultimately, all of our profits depend.

Also, consider the share volume spike: The share trading volume has recently averaged about 100,000 shares per day. Yesterday, there were 1.1 million shares traded, 11 times as much as normal. I suppose that was due to my article's promotion of the facts of the company. But let's consider their current private placement of $1 million at 10 cents. That will be 10 million shares issued, and another 10 million warrants at 14 cents. That means that 20 million shares will come freely trading in about 4 months to the day after the placement is closed. So, 4 months from now, the stock might take a dip in price, as those investors might want to try to lock in profits. So, if you want to buy stock, mark your calendars for about 4 months from now, and be patient!

Learn from my own example. I purchased Emgold over a period of about 3 weeks. It took that long to accumulate 1.2 million shares without pushing up the share price, and I bought between 8 cents and 12 cents per share. Then, I waited about another 5 weeks, before writing yesterday's article, because I wanted to be sure that the immediate bankruptcy risk was removed from the company, to be prudent, before promoting to a wider audience, everyone reading this.

Additionally, if the company begins raising $3 million at 15 cents/share now, as they should, then that will be another 20 million shares, and maybe another 10-20 million warrants that will come freely trading 4 months after that next placement closes.  And when that stock is ready to trade, that might also cause the stock price to move down.

They key for the company, to maintain continued and successful fund raising, is to ramp up promotion at the times when that stock comes free, so that upward momentum of the stock price keeps people interested, rather than discouraged.

Big money likes to see investment interest from smaller traders. But bigger money is generally much more cautious, and they will do far more methodical research to make sure of the soundness of the investment opportunity.

Also, if the stock price is too volatile, that also makes it hard for the company, and investors, to figure out what to do. People begin to wildly speculate that permits are being denied, rather than doing real research or contacting the company to see what is really going on. A wildly changing stock price can scare off the big money investors that we want to ultimately attract.

One of the worst things that could happen now, is if another successful promoter found out about Emgold, and began promoting it too aggressively, before the company is able to appropriately scale up and raise funds at gradually increasing price levels. If you are such a an online promoter, please choose another stock; there are many to choose from.

That was partly my fault, when I didn't know how crucial it was for companies to raise money at appropriate steps. I also didn't realize that I engaged in "over promotion" by writing about stocks on the internet. See, about 5 years later, the stock price collapsed down to 20 cents again, barely above the 15 cents it was back in 2003, partly because the company never raised all the money they needed to start production, and investors get tired of waiting, but also, because all mining stocks were hit hard in 2008. GMO went from about $1/share to $11/share, but still, there was that nasty down draft of 2008-2009 that hit this stock, too. Again, be careful.

Emgold has just as good of a chance to rise in price from 10 cents to $1/share over the next 4 to 12 months. The problem will be if they only raise about $30 million in that timeframe; as it won't be enough, and the stock price would start to take a beating, making it harder to raise the funds to start mining.

Remember what happened to Sterling Mining from 2003 to 2007 or so. Their stock went up ten to twenty times after they acquired the Sunshine Mine in Idaho. They raised funds. Silver prices were rising. They got overconfident. They started a new shaft. Then, they ran out of funds and went bankrupt. (Long story short.)

Silver also is volatile, and changes in price wildly. In the case of silver, I believe that the master manipulators who change the prices at the COMEX, make silver prices wild on purpose, to scare people away from owning it.

Remember, the key point about silver vs. stocks. Stocks can go bankrupt and go to zero.   Silver never can. Silver's main risk on the other hand, is simply that it can be stolen. But the bigger risk in silver is that 99% of investors fail to take delivery of their silver, and thus, they end up putting money with companies who never go out and buy the silver for them in the first place, and that kind of silver is guaranteed to be subject to counter party default risk, which is the risk that the custodian goes bankrupt.

(And Emgold, a great $4 million stock; developing a $2 billion gold mine!)

The government is spending $1500 billion more per year than they are getting in taxes. They are not borrowing this money; they are printing it. There is no political will to fix the problem. The "Occupy Wall Street" protests are about a protest against the Wall Street bailouts, but also, it's about the 99% wanting more government handouts than they are already getting, and already 43 million Americans are on food stamps. Government over spending, and especially the bank bailouts, will cause inflation, and may ultimately destroy the dollar.   The question is, by how much?

Let's do some math. If only 1% of paper money in savings was spent on gold, that would be about $180 billion.

Yet the annual world gold market is only about 75 million ounces (oz.) of newly mined gold each year.

How much gold are Americans currently buying? About 1 million oz. of gold eagles per year, and I suppose Americans buy about twice that much gold, so only about 2 million oz. out of the 75 million oz. available.

At $1666/oz., the world is spending about $125 billion on gold each year, with Americans spending only about $3 billion of that.

If Americans put only 1% of their cash into gold to protect themselves from inflation, which is 180 billion, I'd estimate that the gold price would at least triple, to $5000/oz.

But the dollar is no longer backed by gold. In theory, every dollar in circulation could be spent on gold, and then, spent on gold again!

If all US dollars were spent on official US gold, that would be about $18 trillion spent on 261 million oz. of gold. That implies a price of $69,000 per oz.

What about silver?

If only 1% of money, $180 billion, were spent on silver, well, the annual production of silver is only about 700 million oz. That implies a price of $257/oz, but that would leave no silver left over for industry, which vitally needs silver in at least 10,000 different applications, so we should conservatively double that number to $500/oz.

The historic ratio of silver to gold is 15:1. But since silver has been so utterly consumed by industry, I'd expect prices to eventually exceed that ratio, and hit at least 10:1, if not 5:1.

If silver hits 10:1, and if gold hits $69,000, then silver can hit $6,900/oz. I hope you understand why I'm comfortable holding silver and gold, keeping them available for inventory at the JH MINT, despite the wild price changes.

To answer a common question, "If you like it, why sell it?" Answer, "I sell it at prices that cover my costs, and there is a tiny profit in this business, and I use that to buy more."

But also, I want my town to profit. If the dollar fails, this part of the nation will do just fine. Or at least, there are enough truly wealthy people here now, that this area might do ok because there is enough real wealth in town.

Emgold is a stock with a market cap value of about $4 million.

Their assets, of the Idaho-Maryland Mine in my hometown of Grass Valley, CA, may well have gold in the ground worth between about $2 to $10 billion.

Here's how this might take place:

Emgold has 38 million shares outstanding now.

Emgold might raise $2 million at 14 cents/share, issuing another 14 million shares.
Emgold might raise $4 million at 21 cents/share, issuing another 19 million shares.
Emgold might raise $8 million at 31 cents/share, issuing another 26 million shares.
Emgold might raise $16 million at 45 cents/share, issuing another 36 million shares.
Emgold might raise $32 million at 67 cents/share, issuing another 48 million shares.
Emgold might raise $64 million at $1/share, issuing another 64 million shares.

That would raise all the money they need to start mining, $126 million, and anyone who buys the stock today at ten cents would make 10 times their money during fund raising period. And how much stock would be issued total?

64 + 48 + 36 + 26 + 19 + 14 + 38 = 245

If Emgold does it right, they might have 245 million shares by the time they are done raising the money they need.

If they do it even better, they could put the money they raise into gold, and if the gold price doubles, they could eliminate the final fund raising, and self-finance the mine with much less stock issued!

But if they issue a total of 245 million shares, and if they earn between $240 to $360 million, that's earnings of over $1 per share. That kind of a dividend would drive the stock price to $10/share, or more, if the gold price keeps going up.

It's an axiom of life that if you don't buy it, you won't own it.

The great thing about Emgold is that it's a public company, and shares trade daily, so ownership is always on sale. Therefore, nobody has a legitimate right to complain that they don't own the profits of Emgold; because they can buy stock at any time if they wish.

With the dollar continuing to crash, I believe it is inevitable that many local mines will reopen at some point. The only real decision is who will own the mine or mines?

Will the mine create environmental damage? Not likely. Mines today are more environmentally friendly than ever. And the profits will be more than enough to pay to prevent any environmental damage. The town council and independent analysts will ensure that.

What about wells running dry? Not likely. It might only affect about 12 homes (or not), and the Mine can easily afford the $1 million estimate to put those homes on NID water, to compensate them for the change in a water source.

If you want to help out yourself, I think you should buy stock in Emgold today.

Imagine if you or your corporation put a mere $100,000 into Emgold at the start of financing, and if that $100,000 investment grew into $10 million worth of stock, that was earning over $1 million per year in dividends.

Finally, the stock is so cheap, it might be possible for a new buying group or company to buy a controlling interest in the company, rather cheaply.

Peak Oil or Peak Silver?

(Neither; just rising prices!)

There is a 50 year supply of oil in the ground, but only a 13 year supply of silver.

This means that if peak oil is true, then peak silver is more true, that we will run out of silver, first. If that happens, you can forget about peak oil, because without silver, we won't have any computers or electronics to be able to go out and explore for, or pump, or deliver, any oil.

But wait, see, 10 years ago, when I first got into silver, the world had a 15-16 year supply of silver in the ground. Why isn't it down to 6? Because we explore for, and find, more silver all the time. We always have. Also, with rising prices, previously explored and uneconomic silver deposits suddenly can become economic and add to supply, especially as silver prices have risen from $5 to $30/oz.

See, mankind has been exploring for, finding and mining silver, for maybe up to 6000 years. In contrast, oil has a shorter history, only going back 160 years to the mid 1800's. And the oil market today is so large, that we feel we are dependent on it, and in many ways, we are, and this kind of dependency tends to bring out irrational fears.

The general trend has been that the number of years of oil in the ground always goes up. In 1975, we had only a 25 year supply of oil, and the world was supposed to run out by the time I was 30. I'm 41, and now the world has a 50 year supply. (See HSBC article: http://green.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/03/30/less-than-50-years-of-oil-left-hsbc-warns/)

See, the trend is that in the next 50 years, the world will have a 100 year supply of oil.

But going back even further, about 100 years ago, there was only a 2-3 year supply of oil in the ground.

People predicting shortages have been around forever. Lot said to Abraham, there is not enough water for both of our flocks, so you go one way, and I'll go another. Malthus predicted we would soon run out of food, way back in 1798. O-kay!

So let's agree that we will run out of "cheap oil". Agreed. But we will run out of "cheap silver" far sooner, and thus, silver is the better investment! The world should try to squeeze $2.7 trillion in oil revenues into the tiny $30 billion silver market and watch silver prices explode upwards due to the economic realities of scale, size, and price!

Some people are saying that we are not exploring for oil fast enough, despite the rising reserves. OK. There might be another rational explanation, other than "the world is running out".

See commodities run in cycles, with low prices, and high prices. High prices lead to exploration booms, which tend to stop during cycles of low prices. These cycles can last 30-60 years.

Oil was $10/barrel in the year 2000--the low price time. Oil was $43/barrel back in 1980--the last price peak. That's a 20 year cycle, for just a one way price movement, a drop. The monetary base has increased ten times since 1980, so the prior peak price was really $430/barrel. That's a big swing in prices for a 20 year commodity cycle, the equivalent of going from $430 to $10.

Basic economics explains a lot. The economic incentives to go out and explore for more oil are a lot less when oil is $10, as it was in recent history, and oil at $85 is still "low", down 80% from the peak!

Another factor vastly reducing oil exploration incentives in our modern world is that 80-90 percent of world oil production has been confiscated by the dictators running the world's nations. A perfect example is the oil found by the Hunt brothers in Lybia. Lybia stole fields worth $5 billion from the Hunts. Now, after that happens, where is the economic incentive for anyone to explore for oil in Lybia? And a few months ago, Venezuela nationalized oil, again.

See, 80 to 90 percent of the best places to explore for oil in the world are off limits to free market exploration. And yet, the world is still managing to find an ever increasing annual number of years of oil left. Amazing!

Imagine how much oil the world would explore for, and find, if there were no dictators stealing oil, and if oil prices were at $430/barrel! Hint, most "peak oiler" guys cannot imagine such circumstances. (OK, yes, but we still have dictators!) I know. I understand. I agree with the reality of today. But how many revolts would there be against such dictators when people can no longer afford oil or food? Conditions of scarcity caused by dictators tend to help remove such dictators from power. Witness Egypt.

And let's also consider the remaining 10-20 percent of the oil in the "free" world? Well, about 9 cents per gallon of gas goes to "oil profits" and about 50 cents goes to state and federal taxes. So, about 80% of the world's "free" oil is being confiscated at the pump in taxes.

Yet with all that theft of oil, the world's oil reserves are still growing! Do you see any reason to be optimistic yet?

See, in my view, the world does not have an "oil shortage" problem. Instead, the world has a "freedom shortage" problem. The best way to increase freedom is to buy silver, as this takes away the power of governments to steal by using the printing press to print paper money.

Yes, my view is supported by my ideals. There is also the issue of prophecy, which matches exactly with the history of the last 100 years. The Bible says that in the last days, travel and knowledge will increase. "Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Is anyone worried about the impending world wide banana shortage? No? Why not? After all, there is only a 20 day supply in the whole world. After that, all the green bananas turn brown and are rotten. Nobody worried? Why? Because more bananas are always growing.

As far as we know, oil comes up from the earth and re-fills old oil fields, over time. This is the abiotic theory of oil, that oil bubbles up from the earth's magma. If that's the case, we essentially have an unlimited supply of oil.

I would tend to be more likely to believe peak oil proponants if they understood basic economic laws.

As oil prices go up, people will naturally use less gas, if the economic pain is high enough. As far as I can see, the rise in oil from $10 to $100 has hardly caused a reduction in gas use, and gas prices only rose from about $1.50 to $4.50, only 3 times.

But this just goes to show that oil, at $10, was ridiculously cheap, and thus, recently extremely abundant! (Hint, not scarce, not running out.)

Again, with oil now at $85, oil is still down more than 80% from it's inflation adjusted high of $430/barrel from 1980.

As oil prices rise, not only are there are higher economic incentives to explore for more oil, but also, vastly larger oil fields with lower grade oils suddenly become more economic to produce from. There's that word again, "economic", which trips up the peak oil crowd.

The peak oilers warn about this lower grade oil, warning about the lower "energy returned on energy invested" (EREI), warning that if the energy return heads to zero, we run out. I get that.

But lower grade deposits have two interesting points about them. First, today, many are economic even with oil 80% lower than prices that the world can tolerate! Second, the good point about lower grade oil deposits, is that like almost all lower grade mining projects, the size of the deposit tends to grow exponentially larger, thus aiding exponential growth rates of oil usage.

The other factor not often considered about "energy returned on energy invested" (EREI) arguments is that the proponants count all costs in terms of energy, and this is not true. Energy is only about 4% of the world economy, only about $2 trillion out of about $50 trillion or so. Costs are usually in dollars, and could also be counted in terms of gold.

The EREI proponants say that when energy is spent, it is destroyed. And they also correctly warn that dollars could be destroyed. True, and true. And thus, they worry, and warn that we could "run out of money" to spend on oil. NOT TRUE. Why?

They forgot about gold. Gold is not destroyed when it is spent, but rather, it just changes hands. In fact, when gold goes into the hands of people who have successfully explored for, and managed, and produced oil for the world to solve our oil needs, it goes into the best possible hands in the world, because those people will likely continue to try to produce oil for the world! Furthermore, as gold goes up in price, there is MORE MONEY for all the holders of all the gold in the world.

Here's a comparison to show why there will be a lot more money if paper money goes away completely. If we could not spent paper money on oil, we would have to spend gold and/or silver. What would that look like?

Let's start by looking at how much paper money is out there, and the annual value of the oil and gold production.

Currently, there is always seemly a dire shortage of money, and yet, there is only about $50-60 trillion worth of paper currency. Despite the fact that they are always printing it, the problem is that the value keeps going down, resulting in a weirdly stable $50-60 billion for the world economy over the last ten years.

The world produces about $3 trillion of oil per year. The math is 88 million barrels per day, x 365 days, x $85/barrel = $2.7 trillion.

The world mines about $130 billion, or $0.13 trillion, of gold per year.

2.7/.13 = 21 Thus, the world's oil production is worth about 21 times as much as the world's gold production.

But what if the entire world used gold for money? And what if the world still spent only 5% of the world's gold production on oil production, because the world has other things to buy with the gold, too.

Well, what if the world's gold production was worth 20 times as much as the world's oil production? It could happen. After all, the detractors of gold say that "you can't eat gold". But that's a benefit. See, if gold prices go up, nobody starves, and mining simply increases!

So, to measure value in terms of "stable dollars", because that's how our minds value things today, what would gold values be if gold production were worth 20 times oil production, and if there were no paper money on earth, and if only 5% of gold production were spent on all world oil production?

Math: $2.7 trillion worth of annual oil production x 20 = $54 trillion, divided by 75 million oz. of gold annual production, = $720,000 dollars per ounce. wow. It could happen! And there would be no shortage of money to spend to go out and explore for oil! Again, that implies a value for gold, if there is no paper money, and if 5% of gold production were able to buy 100% of world oil production, because the rest of gold production would be spent on other things, just like in today's world.

If gold were worth so much, then the world's 5 billion oz. of gold would be worth $3,600,000 billion. See, that's a lot more money than $50,000 billion in world cash. So, the world does not ever have to worry about running out of money (poking a major hole in the Energy Returned on Energy Invested argument), as long as it simply values gold higher. This also means that gold does not cause a restriction on economic activity, like the bashers of the gold standard falsely claim. Gold causes a restriction on govenrment intervention, and helps to create an explosion of freedom that the world so desperatly needs, to solve world problems like shortages of oil!

Also, as the dollar continues to fail, very very few people will try to buy 100 barrels of oil to put on their front lawns to store the equivalent of $8500 worth of wealth. But millions of people will try to buy $10,000 worth of silver and gold, or far more, and put that in their vaults at home!

And that information might just be better than silver!

This kind of volatility we are seeing in silver is insane, and is further proof that the paper market is manipulating the price! Silver hit a low of $26 yesterday, yet 3 days earlier it was $40.50!

$40.50 minus $26 = $14.50/oz. dip.
$14.50/$40.50
= 35.8% drop in three days!?!

And yet, this morning, silver hit a high of $33.65. In just over 24 hours, silver bounced back by about 29%?

$33.65 minus $26 = $7.65/oz. gain.
$7.56/$26
= 29.4% gain in just over 24 hours!?!

I know this kind of market volatility and price changes are unusual. It's unusual even for a tiny $3 million market cap penny stock! And the silver market is a major $30 billion annual industry, which is 10,000 times larger than more stable penny stocks!

How can a dealer deal at 3% or less in this kind of environment?

We, at www.jhmint.com were super busy on Monday, 9-26-11. We sold $260,000 worth of silver and gold. We only bought $30,000 from the public, so we had to order $230,000 from the wholesale suppliers, who, again were all super busy themselves, and had busy signals on the phone today. We are rapidly running out, and risk being sold out of a few products tomorrow. Therefore, I raised prices by 1% across the board, again, to help ration product availability.

Our shop, jhmint.com, was super busy last Friday, 9-23-11. The public bought $250,000 worth of silver and gold from us, about 3/4 silver, 1/4 gold, and most of it all in cash, all under $10,000 limit. We took in only $60,000 from online wires, in 7 different wire transfer transactions. This move down in the silver price is totally fraudulent, the people are buying like mad at these levels. If this price holds for some insane reason, while people buy this much, then I'm thinking that silver at most of our suppliers will run out in about a month or less. Most people were buying like crazy. Exhausting day! Fun Fun!

Regarding these clearly manipulative price changes, a reader asked me at facebook:

When will the sellers like YOU just shut up shop during times like this! - put a sign in the window - 'gone sailing, back later' - Kiwi.

I replied:
No, we NEED to sell to the public, so that we can allow the public the opportunity to challenge, and take on the JP Morgan manipulators. I'm not "selling", I'm "passing it through", as for every sale, we re-purchase the silver immediately, in bulk from wholesale suppliers, and mints, who manufacture fresh new 1 oz. rounds.

And I replied again:
Also, Stephen, we have FIXED costs, such as telephone book ads, rent, employees, internet, electricity, garbage collection. If I close up shop, on some of our busiest days, I would be a horrible businessman. The trouble is not me, the trouble is that the public, such as yourself, do not understand the first thing about the free market, and how free market competition is the ONLY thing that will ultimately end the price manipulation. See, the price manipulations fail when the public goes on a buying spree like they did on Thursday and Friday.

The reader responded with appreciation and understanding:

cool - I appreciate the response Jason, except i do understand the free market, I just didn't realize you were buying at the market price.

I reply finally:

Yes, we always have to buy back daily. If we can't buy from the public, then we have to re-order from wholesalers. Unlike other dealers, I'm not content to sit on cash, I always go all back into metal at the end of the day, and during the day. We do this so that we will survive this bull market in silver, and survive the run up to $500/oz. and beyond. This is not just my market prediction hype, we are basing our business plan and strategy and business procedures to ensure business success while the price rises explosively.

Long ago, I realized that it would be much more effective to help people to become wealthy, if I also prepared them personally and mentally to handle the wealth. After all, lottery winners usually fail at manaing their new wealth.

1. You need to be able to learn, especially when the correction seems harsh, or unpleasant. This must be important. The Bible says this one twice in the same words.

Proverbs 13:18 All who refuse correction will be poor and disgraced; all who accept correction will be praised.

2 Chronicles 1:11 All who refuse correction will be poor and disgraced; all who accept correction will be praised.

Proverbs 13:8 The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.

2. Faith in truth, facts, logic, reason and planning.

I have seen and heard the plans and dreams of many poor people. It does not surprise me that they remain poor. Typically, they do not make a careful evaluation of their own plans, they do not determine the costs, nor evaluate the risks properly. They often have no idea what the costs of their own plans might be, nor do they have any idea of the relative value of the products they hope they might produce.

Luke 14:27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? 29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’

God made the world with certain principles. These reflect back on God's own character.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-—his eternal power and divine nature-—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

In reality, in the world, "Things that are made" are capable of being weighed and measured and thus counted with numbers, that can be used for making calculations and plans.

You must weigh and measure things accurately in order for your plans to succeed.

Deuteronomy 25:15 If you weigh and measure things honestly, the LORD your God will let you enjoy a long life in the land he is giving you.

Galatians 6:7 You cannot fool God, so don't make a fool of yourself! You will harvest what you plant.

I have read that in the third world, in very poor nations, people have faith in different things. They have faith in mysticism; faith in magic. Their own witch doctors and magicians will tell them that in order to become rich, they must engage in killing or a ritual sacrifice of man. Nothing could be further from the truth, and it's keeping their entire society away from success.

3. Discernment between good and evil.

Discernment is a skill that can be developed, through use, like a muscle.

Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

One must develop the discernment to detect scams, frauds, and false arguments and false assumptions.

Why? Because many people will seek to steal, through fraud, from people with money.

4. Lack of envy for the rich.

No matter how much you have, others will have more! Envy will destroy you.

Proverbs 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

Many people who are poor, envy the rich; but they don't know what they are envying.

For even if you have business success; others may have more free time. If you have wealth, others may have more peace. Wealth comes with problems and responsibilities and demands.

Ecclesiastes 5:12 If you have to work hard for a living, you can rest well at night, even if you don't have much to eat. But if you are rich, you can't even sleep.

If a poor man hates the rich, who will he hate if he becomes rich? Will he hate himself? Envy is evil.

James 3:16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

"Do not covet, or envy" is the 10th of the Ten commandments.

Exodus 20:17 Do not want anything that belongs to someone else. Don't want anyone's house, wife or husband, slaves, oxen, donkeys or anything else.

5. A good understanding of, and faith, in free market principles, private property, and the potential benefits of trade.

Many people who lack this understanding have not yet bought silver or gold, because they don't know what they would "USE" the gold for.

Yes, you can't "eat" gold. Neither can you eat paper money, nor bonds, nor housing, nor stocks. In fact, you can't eat the vast majority of all things in which to invest.

Gold's usefulness is that you can and will be able to trade it, in the future, for more of the things you will want; whether to buy future businesses, or food that you can buy in the future. The entire point of buying silver or gold, is not to own the silver or gold itself, but to be capable of trading it for something more useful in the future.

Silver and gold are particularly useful for trade, because they have a narrow spread, or cost difference, to buy and sell them; the least spread of any kind of item in the world. They also have a very high value for their weight.

$400 of gold weighs just under 2/10ths of a troy ounce. The spread is about 6-7%
$400 of silver now weights just under 10 troy ounce, or .7 pounds. The spread is about 6-7%
$400 of copper now weighs about 100 pounds!!! The spread is up to about 100%. That's the difference between the cost to buy and sell copper!

That's why copper is not money, and silver and gold are.

Many people needlessly worry about potential government interference with the free market. "WHAT IF THEY CONFISCATE GOLD? What if they make gold illegal?" Well, marijuana is illegal, but it seems it's as available as beer. Let me point out the obvious here. Marijuana costs more, becaue it is illegal, right? Same with gold. If they make it illegal, there will be an extra price to pay to get it, and thus, your gold will be worth MORE!

Here's the other major obvious point. If they make gold illegal, gold does not disintigrate! The physical properties of gold itself make a mockery of unjust laws created by gangs of criminals.

Gold will become ever more useful, and especially useful, precisely at the moment they make it illegal. In fact, if you hear they are planning to make gold illegal, that's the best possible moment to buy some, if it's not too late, and if you can even get some during the mad rush that will exist at that point! But be prepared to pay 50% to 100% premiums over the officially quoted "spot" price in time of severe market distress like those!

6. Self denial / self control

Self control is a fruit of the holy spirit that can be cultivated, encouraged, and practiced.

Galatians 5:22-24 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Self-Control describes the capacity to NOT SPEND your wealth on yourself to excess, but rather, to deny your immediate desires, to enable long term planning.

Anyone who spends more money than they make, will always be poor, regardless of how many millions of dollars they may be making.

Most lottery winners are worse off after they win it! Why? One reason must be that they have little self control, or no self denial. If they had self control, they would not have wasted their money on the bad gamble and bad investment of the lottery ticket in the first place!

Gold is the ultimate luxury item. But it does not satisfy the flesh, but rather, the spirit. Gold ownership is not evidence of self-indulgence, but rather, evidence of self-denial; it is the proof of the refusal to spend the gold on personal luxury items that can satisfy the flesh.

Gold ownership should give the owner a sense of peace, and should enable one to practice kindness and goodness through giving of one's excess to help others.

Proverbs 21:17 Whoever loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and olive oil will never be rich.

Proverbs 23:20-21 Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags.

To become rich, you have to avoid wasteful spending.

Poor people like to own things that make them look richer than they are; nice cars and clothes, which are the worst possible investments that lead to poverty. Rich people like to pretend to be poor, so as to discourage others who would otherwise pretend to be their friends to gain unfair advantage.

Proverbs 13:7 One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.

Desiring wealth to spend it on personal luxuries for yourself is a trap.

1 Timothy 6:9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.

Proverbs 21:20 Be sensible and store up precious treasures -- don't waste them like a fool.

7. Recognition that trusting in wealth, rather than God, leads to destruction.

Proverbs 11:28 Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.

In sum, planning in advance, thinking of the future, especially your eternal future, is perhaps one of most important mental attitudes for people who desire to be rich.

8. Recognition that wealth comes from God. It's all God's, he created everything.

Haggai 2:8 All silver and gold belong to me, [says the Lord God]

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Nebuchadnezzar, king of the wealthiest empire that ever was, ignored God, and boasted that he did it all himself, and it was all taken away from him.

Daniel 4:28 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?” 31 Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you.

9. God has left us an inheritance, an inheritance for every nation! And we ought to leave an inheritance for our children's children, not steal from them by leaving them a legacy of debt.

Exodus 23:30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Psalm 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

I inherited most of my wealth. And most of my best knowledge is the timeless wisdom from the Bible. But if I had not been humble to come home and help my father for 5 years, and if I had not diligently helped my father grow his investments, there might not have even been anything left to inherit, or if I was unworthy, my father may have left everything to an animal shelter.

10. Recognition that wealth has a purpose, to increase the Kingdom of God.

Back in the days before movable type, prior to the 1500's, it would take a skilled laborer, a scribe who went to school, over a year to handwrite a copy of the entire Bible. Imagine hiring a lawyer for an entire year. Just a Bible would cost upwards of the equavalent of $300,000 today.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share (communicate-KJV). In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

And this is the indictment for the gold owners of this age. They are not fulfilling 1 Timothy 6:17-19. They are not preaching the benefits of using honest weights and measures, such as gold, in commerce.

The amount of gold in the world today is estimated at about 5 billion ounces. The gold of the world, at $1880/oz., is worth about $9.4 Trillion dollars. Most gold owners pay, on average, about 1% per year on storage fees. This comes to $94 billion spent on vaults and security systems. Many gold owners pay this as an annual fee to brokerage houses, who don't even go out to buy the gold that the supposed gold owners think is theirs! What's worse, is that this 1% is spent by the bankers who go out and control the media, and hire journalists to go out and bash gold owners and gold ownership!

Imagine instead, if the gold owners actually took delivery of their gold. Imagine also, that there was $94 billion per year spent on advertising the benefits of owning gold. Clearly, not nearly as much is spent by gold holders, who are totally neglecting their responsibility (not only to take delivery) but also, to share their wisdom of owning gold with the rest of the world. If 1% of the value of the world's gold were spent this way, I assure you, the value of gold would be about 100% to 500% higher, within a year.

The gold owners of this age, are foolishly trusting gold itself. Instead, they should trust God's ways. Today, the evil pushers of paper money are more accurately following God's ways, as they are the ones advertising the benefits of paper money. If paper money printers are following and obeying God's ways more than gold owners, why should we be surprised if they are currently reaping God's blessings?

God blesses both good and evil.

Matthew 5:45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Daniel 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many---
Daniel 12:4 ---many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

And so now you know why I don't mind preaching the Word of God, and watching people get offended. If they leave my email list, they were simply proving themselves unworthy of my help, and unworthy of actually growing wealthy by following God's advice!

What's Pushing Gold to New Highs

There are two major developments in the past two weeks that are pushing gold to new highs, with gold reaching $1825/oz. this afternoon.

First, GATA, the Gold Anti Trust Action Committee, knows more about the gold industry than any other organization on earth, in my opinion. The last time they hosted two other conferences, few attended, but enough did so that the gold price exploded both times. Their conference before the last one was a few years ago in Dawson City, when gold was about $438, and gold exploded up to about $750 without much of a pause, and only 100 people attended their show. But the quality of the people was very high! A billionaire gave a presentation, Hugo Salinas Price. And Adrey Bykov, the personal economic advisor to Putin, the president of Russia at the time was also there.

The major systemic story in the gold world is that gold is often leveraged 50 to 100 to one. This means that the major banks and brokerages will trade, or sell, up to 50 to 100 oz. of gold for every 1 oz. that they have in their possession. This is similar to fractional reserve banking, which they also do, where they will only have $1 of cash on deposit to back up, up to $100 worth of deposits at their bank. This fraud only works so long as people are too scared to take delivery, and guard their own cash or metals. Every now and then, people wake up, and demand their cash or metals. The difference with metal is that there is no "lender of last resort", like with the Federal reserve who can print money to bail out the banks. The new mine supply of metal is simply not enough to cover the amount of metal on deposits. But what's worse, is that nations have printed up hundreds of times as much paper money, more than the gold that ultimately backs up their currencies. Gold no longer backs up Federal Reserve notes, and even if it did, US gold has not been audited in the last 50 years, and even if it exists, it would provide only about a 1% backing to the currency. (Hence, the 100 to 1 leverage).

The second major development in the gold world is that this week, Venezuela is now trying to obtain their gold, from out of major western financial institutions that might not have the gold.

Venezuela is trying to obtain 99 tonnes of gold from the Bank of England. The Bank of England sold half their own gold, selling about 250 tonnes out of 500 tonnes, around 1999-2001 back at $250/oz. to suppress the gold price, and to "earn" an interest rate on foreign currencies. The Bank of England might not even have Venezuela's gold!

I wonder if Venezuela is considering a military response to institutions like JP Morgan if they are not paid back?

Remember, it was France who broke the back of the gold manipulation in 1971, by trying to convert gold certificates into real gold. Back then, the certificates were called US Dollars! That event started gold on it's bull market move from $35/oz. to $850/oz.

If history is any guide, gold might begin a major move up over 25 times, up to about $40,000/oz. over the next ten years now.

Blue waters are a result of low concentrations of nitrates. The reflective visible spectrum of nearly all nitrates has a greenish tint to it.

If you look into a perfectly maintained white bottom swimming pool if it is BLUE get in it. If it is GREEN don't get in it.

Properly maintained swimming pools are accomplished via break point chlorination that first causes chlorine molecules (or any other halogen) to attach to a nitrate molecule (animal wastes, including fish wastes) and that forms a chloramine. However, that molecule is stable and has a green tint to it. Once the oxidation process is completed with more halogens then the hybrid amine molecules break down into gases and dissipate.

Blue Clean water also has a DRY feeling to it. Whereas Green water has a slimy or soapy feel to it.

My guess is that the natural run off waters that feed Lake Tahoe are depositing some form of halogen that detoxifies the waters by breaking down the nitrates. Most likely the best thing they could do is make sure dogs don't get in the water and that nobody up stream uses fertilizers.

If the lake is slowly changing from blue to green, maybe those pot growers from CA are migrating up behind lake Tahoe.

Jason replies: As I suspected, their move to prevent sediment runoff into the lake may be doing more harm than good to their own cause -- or at least the public justification of their cause, as their real cause might just be to stop any development, regardless of the "blue lake" excuse!

I began visiting there with the family in the 1960s. Being a devotee of the lake oceanographer and naturalist Jacques Yves Cousteau, I made my first scuba dive of the lake as a teenager in 1972. I have hiked, camped, fished, snow skied, and scuba & skin dived Tahoe many times over the course of my life.

At one point I even owned a home about a half an hour drive from Tahoe.

For over forty years, Lake Tahoe has been a very special place to me.

In that time, I have witnessed more than a little government chicanery with regard to the area. And I've come to the conclusion that it has NEVER been about "keeping Tahoe blue." More precisely, it has been about raising campaign cash for politicians. And keeping the (perceived) riff-raff OUT.

And, based upon your report, it seems little has changed.

Oh, and by the way, the higher you go up in elevation the deeper (darker) the color of blue the sky is. Go way out and the sky is black. Start coming down towards Earth and it gets lighter in color. But today's really took the cake. It is perhaps the best portrayal of government nonsense I have read in a long time. We have similar types of waste here in Canada but, as far as I know, there are no efforts to keep any lake blue. Thanks for the insight and the chuckle I had reading your words. Thanks for this wonderful article on the folly of man. I was almost tempted to contribute to your project to keep the sun yellow. However, I live in Oregon and we do not get to see the sun that much here.

There is a very blue lake in Oregon called Crater Lake but, so far there has been no movement here to keep Crater Lake blue. Perhaps because it is a national park and that agency is expected to do the job despite the fact that it probably does not know what keeps the lake the blue and likely has no control over that natural condition.

Groups like this tend to get the attention of the government and then the government responds by spending money on the project. Politicians are, after all, people similar to the rest of us. They like being liked, like pleasing people, want to continue in their jobs and do what they need to do to accomplish those goals. Most have their own beliefs and pet projects but they are also besieged by special interest groups and beleaguered by members of their own political party. In this case it is easy for them to say they spent the money on the project and, by golly, the lake is still blue.

I don't think it should surprise us that the government is made up of people who possess the same weaknesses we do in terms of having and making decisions on the basis of irrational, illogical unscientific and traditional cultural beliefs. Here in Oregon and, I think in California as well, laws are created on the basis of propositions put forth by the public or special interests groups that superficially sound very good but, once enacted, result in unforeseen, unpredicted and unexpected consequences that can be very negative.

So please be careful about what ideas you come with. A project to keep the sun yellow might take hold and lead to laws and regulations that you or I might never have predicted. It seems to be the nature of man try to fix things that are better left alone.

Hello, Jason:

I can understand your frustration with radical environmentalists, who are often very small in scientific training but very large in their concern and zeal for the things that they do not understand. I refer to this as the "concerned ignorance is not enough" effect.

As a retired scientist with 33 years of experience, I am well aware of the poor quality of the science behind many of the environmental movements today. Back in the 1970s, some of these same people and organizations were ranting about "global cooling". Then it was
"global warming". Now it is "global climate change", as if the climate had never changed before. It is clear to any real scientist that the Earth warms and cools from time to time without the help of humanity. The geologic record shows this quite clearly. In spite of the claims that the Earth is warming, 1932 was the warmest year on record... and that at a time when the US was far less industrialized and populated than it is today. The sun is THE source for the Earth's temperature and even minor variations in its output can cause significant changes in the Earth's temperature, as well as in its weather and climate patterns.

Understanding patterns is one of the primary methods by which we can all understand what is happening on Earth. Anything that happens is likely to repeat, since any conditions that allow one event to occur will also allow it to recur. We see this over and over again. Every-thing from spring rains to summer drought to fall winds and winter snows is a repeating pattern.

About every 100,000 years, the Earth undergoes an ice age. This is a time when the Earth cools precipitously and vast areas become covered with ice and snow. Being a very bright white, these areas then reflect sunlight which cools the Earth further and perpetuates the
period of extremely low temperatures. No one knows how or why the Earth recovers from this and goes into the inter-glacial periods of warming for a similar period of time, but it does. We are in one of those warming periods now. In fact, we are over-due for another ice age by about 13,000 years. Again, no one knows why this should be the case. What we do know is that there are MANY repeating cycles on the Earth so it should not surprise anyone that the Earth is not a static environment. It is a dynamic environment and change
is the rule, not the exception.

As to the lakes being blue... the primary reason for lakes being blue is that they are very pure cold water that does not support much in the way of microbial growth. These high mountain lakes do not have an algae bloom, as do lakes that are warmer and at lower elevations.

Run-off from human sewage can add the necessary nutrients to a lake that promotes microbial growth and perhaps even an algae bloom. When this happens, the water becomes cloudy and not as clear as it was before the bloom. A severe algae bloom can even discolor the
water, such as the "red tides" that occur along some seashore areas. In a lake, this usually results in a brownish or greenish tint.

Development around such high mountain lakes should be done carefully with great attention paid to septic tanks and other sources of water pollution. It is possible to drain the wastes that leach from these septic tanks to a central treatment facility for additional purification and release into a stream or river that does not feed into the lake but this is considerably more expensive than is just letting them run into the soil that surrounds the lake and eventually into the lake itself.

I submit that if the money heretofore spent on "keeping Lake Tahoe Blue" had been spent on an adequate sewage collection and treatment facility, this would not be an issue today.

I'm more impressed by the quality of responses from your readers, who are already supporting your hypothesis that the local sediment is probably at least partly responsible for killing off the algae and keeping the waters clear.

If true, this also calls attention to the likelihood that the government's response, which is to reduce sediment run-off, would likely be the wrong approach to keeping the waters clear.

The worst part of this "Keep Tahoe Blue" fraud, is that you can't really "opt out" of it, since this fraudulent religion is supported by mandatory taxes. And even if we didn't pay taxes, this kind of insane spending is supported by money printing which hurts the dollar's value, which is destroying the wealth of the majority of the nation who is not smart enough to buy silver to protect themselves.

I hope your readers understand that while you do have a self-interest now to sell them silver ever since you have been a precious metals dealer for the past 3 years at jhmint.com, that you have really been an advocate of silver and gold for over 10 years. And I also hope that your readers will understand that they will benefit from owning silver far more than you will benefit by selling it to them. As you may make (after costs) about 1% on a transaction, but they will likely make hundreds of percentage multiples in gains over the next few years.

Also, I hope your readers understand that when people act in their own self interest, in truthfulness and not in greed, in accordance with free market principles, and that when people engage in such mutually beneficial transactions, everyone will benefit the most!

My intellectual curiosity got the best of me, and so, I attended the Lake Tahoe Summit 2011, the 15th Annual event sponsored by CA Senator, Diane Feinstein.

Governor Jerry Brown also spoke. What did they say? Not much other than self-congradulatory absurd nonsense, and that they measured success by the only way they know how, by how much government money they threw at the problem! What problem?

It's all about keeping Tahoe Blue! See, the waters of Lake Tahoe are crystal clear, and the depth of the visible clarity has varied over the last 43 years anywhere from about 120 feet to 60 feet, with the lake generally slightly losing slight clarity over this recent time period.

The Federal government has spent $1.5 billion dollars, since 1997, to "help keep Tahoe Blue." I wonder if they even know why the lake is clear? See, I asked the question since the lake has probably always been clear for thousands of years. The truth is that the "keep Tahoe Blue" lady did not know what actually keeps Tahoe waters clear and blue.

She admitted that scientists don't actually know if it's the low winter temperature, or whether it's the depth of the lake waters, or whether it's something in the local mountainous sediment that actually retards algae growth that helps keep the waters clear.

Nevertheless, the $1.5 billion spent to keep Tahoe waters clear have been spent primarily to reduce sediment runoff into the lake, despite the fact that they can only theorize that less sediment might keep the waters clear. Or not. Runoff sediment might also kill the algae that cloud the waters, but they don't really know.

What's really peculiar is that while they boast about all this spending over the last 15 years, that's precisely the time period of a growth of a particular strain of algae that is admittedly responsible for 99% of the clouding of the waters. Furthermore, this algae was previously present in the lake, and also absent from the lake, prior to this recent 15 year period. So, it could be that the slight clouding of the waters is a recurring natural phenomenon completely unrelated to recent activity by man, and thus, 100% of the government's efforts could be completely wasted.

Actually, the scientific data show that when the Tahoe waters are more mixed up from the depths, such as from wind and waves, the water clarity increases. In other words, the lake may well be self cleaning due to the depth of the waters, and the cold, and possibly also by the type of sediment runoff into the lake, but again, they don't really know.

What's particularly interesting is that about 100 years ago, most of the trees in the Tahoe Basin were clearcut for mining interests in Virgina city, the Comstock silver load. Even with all those trees gone, and even with all the increased sediment going into the lake at that time, the waters of Tahoe remain crystal clear blue to this day.

Nevertheless, even though history shows that cutting all the trees in Tahoe won't cloud the lake, there is a ban on cutting trees with a diameter of over 30 inches, because it might be an "old growth" tree of over 100 years old, and cutting one tree down might damage the clarity of the lake, due to the theory of increased erosion causing lake clouding. So, not only is government spending wasteful, but it's actually harmful, as it's preventing people from developing their own properties as they wish.

Here's another hypocritical issue that makes no sense: This "movement" to "keep Tahoe Blue" so that future generations of people can see the clear waters, is somehow far more important than actually allowing people now to build homes and cabins so that people today can actually have a place to stay so that they can come up to the lake now and enjoy it. Quite the contradiction I think. The literature at this "green" event boasts of all the development projects that have been prevented or put on hold due to litigation.

See, they actually turn around that whole legal maxim, "innocent until proven guilty", and now, if you are a developer, you are guilty of potentially clouding the waters of lake Tahoe, until you can prove yourself innocent. But they don't have to prove their theories one iota. Another hypocritical contradiction.

This year, the annual government budget for keeping Tahoe Blue went down from about $300 million down to about $34 million, so private sector donations are expected to help pick up the slack. They boasted of raising $200,000 from the private sector in the last few days.

But keep the faith! It seems like a faith, actually. Isn't this excessive and unscientific environmentalism a lot like "Earth Worship"? Isn't it a religion then? If so, then it seems like it's a violation of the "establishment" clause of the first amendment for any government money to be spent at all on this kind of a project, since the first amendment bans the government from establishing a religion. But that's exactly what they have done.

This faith even has it's own prophecy of doom. "If nothing is done, the lake waters could turn gray from all the pollution of man in less than ten years, and we must do anything possible to prevent that." Even $1.5 billion spent, regardless of scientific proof of any merit. If a man's life is worth $1 million, then they just wasted 1,500 lives over the past 15 years, on nothing.

But they really don't know if they can prevent the lake from clouding over, or not, nor do they really know what they should be doing to prevent that, but they now assume it's mostly likely "road sediment" that is the most important factor to limit.

Again, hypocritically, their false prophecy does assume that if the lake waters turn gray, they could never reverse the damage, which makes spending as much as possible now, into a "dire emergency".

There's no evidence at all whether the lake clouding trend of the last 43 years is part of a larger 80 year clouding and clearing cycle! Based on the current theory that sediment causes lake clouding, I can only assume the lake was more cloudy back 100 years ago when they clear cut all the trees, but there's no evidence of that, either! But doing "something" seems better than doing nothing. They have no idea whether they will be adding Tahoe ground sediment into the lake 20 years from now to kill off the algae growth!

Note, there are no plans to "keep the sun yellow" or "keep the skies blue", because it is generally assumed that they will always stay that way. Well, lake Tahoe has been around for 6000 years or more, with clear waters, so I tend to think that trend will continue, regardless of how much money the government spends.

Perhaps instead of "keep Tahoe Blue", we ought to champion, "keep Politicians poor!"

The point is that the politicians continue to spend the dollar until it will ultimately self-destruct, which it should have done by now, if most people had a clue.

Bonds will pay less than inflation now.

US Bonds that pay 3.6% per year over 30 years have a major downside risk; specifically, they are likely to increase far less than inflation. Gas prices have increased, over the last ten years, from $1.50 to $3.50 per gallon, which is an annual increase of 8.5%. Currency creation now stands at about $2 trillion annually, which is an increase of about 13%! Your investments must now increase by 13% per year, just to stay ahead of inflation. Thus, bonds have a negative real return!

The solution is silver. Buy silver.

Silver has gone up, now, from $4.15/oz. in 2003 to $40.87/oz. this week in the fall of 2011. Silver is going up by 31%, on average, per year, over the last 8.5 years.

Silver will likely continue to go up by 30% per year, or more, for at least the next decade, until silver hits about $500/oz. Why?

Because if even only 1% of US money were spent on silver, this would be about $180 billion, but only $7 billion is spent on physical silver by investors per year. That much money, moving into such a tiny market, will push up the price tremendously. If we assume that such investors could only buy about 300 million oz. annually, as the rest will continue to be consumed by industry, then we can calculate a good price: $180,000 million divided by 300 million ounces of silver = $600/oz.!

If you are a "conservationist", you should conserve silver. You will be well rewarded, and may even be able to buy a home on Lake Tahoe afterwards, to enjoy the crystal clear waters all you want.

It's hard to argue with such rational thoughts, isn't it? My problem is that most people don't like to admit the irrational beliefs that they cherish.

And "they" think my religion is bad!

There is no need for the government to borrow more money to be able to make payments on old debt.

The US Treasury does not need to borrow from the Federal Reserve. The US government does not need to "serve" the Federal Reserve.

The US Treasury can be authorized by Congress to print US Treasury notes (money) directly, like they used to do, and stop issuing Federal Reserve Notes.

In fact, all of the US debt can be retired entirely, all of it could be paid back immediately, merely by issuing new US Treasury notes (money, bills, dollars).

Oh, this was just suggested today, as I was writing this:

Or, as I note, 14 of them!

The sun would not stand still, buildings would not collapse into their footprints, life would go on, inflation would continue, default would be averted, and the $14 trillion or so of total US government debt could be gone. GONE!

And the debt should be gone.

A government is instantly subverted and overthrown the instant it goes into debt. Why?

Because a government in debt serves the lender, rather than serving the people.

A government in debt has a conflict of interest!

Anyone loaning money to the government should actually be guilty of treason, for having successfully overthrown and subverted the national interest of serving the people, first.

I sincerely believe that a debt cap is not what the nation needs, although I believe it would be better than raising the debt ceiling as they always do.

The nation needs a spending cap, and much more, it needs dramatic spending reductions.

Every bit of money that the US spends is not only wasted, but actually harms the economy in multiple ways far more insidiously than most writers recognize and can articulate.

This morning a democrat in the house on C-Span was saying that the government needs to "invest" in schools, health care, infrastructure, and jobs, rather than "cut, cap, and balance".

All of that would be a mistake.

Government money spent on schools is worse than if the government spent nothing at all. Government teachers have an inherent conflict of interest; they will rarely teach against the concept of government, like the Bible does, because they get their pay from the government. Government schools are propaganda for more government. That's bad. Government schools are a monopoly of government schools, which mean there are little to no real incentives to teach students any better. So, the kids get less knowledge, or inaccurate knowledge, if any at all. Both are bad.

The solution would be a government that prosecuted any other governmental entity, Federal, State, County, or City, that spent any money at all on education, banning it in the nature of violating the "establishment of religion (of government)" clause of the first amendment! The solution is free market based educational solutions; teachers that earn their money directly from the parents who will naturally choose the best for their children.

The democrat said Government should "invest" money in health care? Even worse than nothing at all! The problem today is the government granted monopoly on health care supporting the druggers and cutters, while making illegal herbal solutions, or making illegal natural whole foods like unpasteurized unhomogenized whole milk or health claims for walnuts. The solution is ending all funding for the FDA, and opening up the "modern medical monopoly" to real free market competition from people who offer real healing solutions.

The democrat said government should "invest" in jobs created by government spending on more schools or hospitals? Even worse than nothing spent at all. All such jobs would be temporary, another artificial boom, and lead to misallocations of wealth, taken from people who actually created wealth from real jobs, and given to over bloated projects that only make the nation worse off. The solution is to let those people who produce the jobs, keep the money, so they can expand their businesses, which is the only way that real jobs are ever actually created!

The claims that the nation needs to raise the debt ceiling, or else "the roof will fall in" and other such calamities is totally false. The debt is a joke. The debt is nothing, and can be paid off tomorrow with fresh money freshly printed. After all, it's not like we are on a gold standard here. (Hint, buy gold, or better yet, silver!)

The real problem is the out of control government spending. Anything that can reduce government spending will be a boon to the real economy.

Tea Party republicans need to hold strong, and vote against any debt increase.

BIS Changed Silver Data

(From $203 to $93 Billion in Silver Liabilities?)

The Bank of International Settlements (BIS) has changed, or revised, their silver derivatives data in their derivatives reports. The change took place between their June, 2010 report, and their December, 2010 report, for the period of June, 2009. The change was from $203 billion in "other precious metals" liabilities, changed down to $93 billion.

The change took place, in Table 22A: Amounts outstanding of OTC equity-linked and commodity derivatives, By instrument and counterparty, in the category of "other precious metals", for June, 2009, Notional amounts outstanding.

In June, 2009, the silver price was about $15/oz.

This means that the $203 billion silver liability divided by $15/oz. shows that all the banks in the world that are tracked by the BIS owed 13.5 billion ounces of silver.

But the entire world silver mining production is only about 700 million oz. of silver annually, so this is an admission that the banks owed about 19.3 years worth of world annual mine production of silver.

The adjustment, from $203 billion, down to $93 billion was a drop of $110 billion, or more than half of the number! The lower number, $93 billion, is still absurdly large, at about 6.2 billion oz. of silver, or about 8.8 years of worth of world annual mine production of silver.

The obviously large and very excessive amounts are the smoking gun of silver fraud by the western world's banks.

This BIS data is extremely important, because it is far larger than the excessive short selling amounts often noted at the COMEX, which typically is only about 1 billion ounces of silver, or less.

I attended the CFTC open hearings on silver manipulation.  A banking representative was asked directly what the banks were hedging by being so massively short of silver at the COMEX. The answer was that the banks were "hedging client long positions in the OTC market". That's obviously an admission of manipulation, because client long positions do not need to be hedged, since the client obviously wants to be exposed to the changes in the silver prices, which is why they bought silver to be held by the large LBMA member banks in the first place. So if the banks are hedging client long positions, it means that the bank has not bought the silver, and that they want to prevent silver prices from going up, because if it does, then the banks will owe their clients a lot of money, so, to "hedge" that exposure, they short at the COMEX, which is the market that generates "price discovery", since trades there create a trail and record of prices.

After all, imagine what the silver prices would be if the LBMA banks actually went into the market to buy 13 billion ounces of silver, or 19 years worth of annual production. Clearly, the silver prices could go hundreds if not thousands of times higher, and it could destroy the entire financial system of paper money.

The revision was an adjustment from $203 billion down to $93 billion, and the adjustment is strange, because it was the only number that was repeatedly and consistently highlighted in this silver stock report. It's also strange because the amount of the value of the gold contracts, at $425 billion, and other commodities contracts, at $3101, went unchanged for that reporting period.

This BIS change is significant, both in the relatively large silver amounts, and the reporting period. The change took place after I began publishing this BIS data, and soon after I filed the first anti trust complaint against JP Morgan with the Justice Department, in April, 2010.

In conclusion, it's not a "conspiracy theory" that the banks are manipulating the silver market. The BIS bank data shows the conspiracy.

And when the banks are saying indirectly, "don't trust us", given both the large amounts and large changes in their published data, it would be foolish to trust them.

It's a mathematical certainty that silver prices will explode upwards in price, and only people who hold their own silver will benefit from the major value change that's coming.

How I Felt When I Bought Silver

(And a gun and cash and gold!)

Before I was ever moved to buy any silver, I felt that I needed to own a gun. I was in my early twenties, just out of college, and I felt that having a gun was the responsible thing to do. It was a bit scary, because neither my mom nor dad ever owned guns. But the constitution implies that every able bodied man should be a part of the militia, and I didn't have any kids to worry about, and so I felt it was just a responsible and patriotic and adult thing to do, to own a gun to protect my life, and potentially the lives of others, rather than spend my first extra bit of income on any investments. Besides, I reasoned that I could always sell my gun later, so I didn't feel like I was throwing money away on a useless toy, like a stereo system. Afterwards, I was proud of my purchase.

The next thing I did, still before I bought silver, to gain a bit more of that feeling of safety and security, and to be responsible, I began holding cash at home in a locked drawer in my desk. I held cash because I knew that the banks don't even have enough cash on hand to back up all deposits, so I only kept enough cash in my bank account to pay the bills. Sometimes, I would take out more cash than I needed, and then re-deposit it, just to make sure that the banks were honest, and that I could get my cash out, if needed. I was uneasy that banks often had trouble giving $5000 in cash to depositors, when I had from $10,000 to $20,000 in my bank account!

Taking money out of the bank, even your own money, always feels a bit weird. They make you feel weird about it, too. Propaganda goes back to textbooks in school that try to teach us that the great depression was to blame on people who stored cash in their mattress at home, since that reduced the "velocity of money". (But people should be richer if the velocity of money goes down, as the value of their money goes up.)

A customer relates her experience, as follows:

"The first few times I took $10,000 out from Wells Fargo, it was no problem. This last time, on June 9th, they only let me take out $5000, and so I had to go to two branches. And, they acted like I had to order the cash four days in advance. And, on top of all that, they wanted to know what I was going to do with my money! It's infuriating!"

"But I've found that actually buying bullion from the JH MINT is more fun, more rewarding, and less stressful than doing other things with my money, like visiting my relatives in Florida, or going to Disneyland. You guys are in such a nice place, and your parking lot feels so safe, as there is not much street traffic nearby, and it feels like nobody will know what we are doing when we are there!" (Jason notes: That's why I picked my out of the way location! I used to drive 3.5 hours, for years, to get my bullion!)

"The best part about buying silver is that you hear so many things that are infuriating, but you can't do anything about it, like the direction this nation is headed, or the budget deficit. But buying silver is a process of actually taking control, it's empowering! Buying silver is somthing you actually can do something about!"

OK, it's me, Jason again:

I first bought some gold and silver soon after I heard what I thought was a "sure thing" insider tip. I heard a customer at a gunshop say that the mines could hardly produce gold for the price it was at, which sounded like a guaranteed way to make money, simply by buying gold.

(In hindsight, he was right. Furthermore, even though we are in a bull market for gold, gold mine output is down, because many other costs, such as oil, which is a large part of mining costs, have risen faster than the price of gold, as oil has moved up from $10 barrel to over $100, now at just under $92. If gold had kept pace with oil, gold's price would be $2760 today.)

I remember my first few trips to my local coin shop, Tebo Coin in Bouler, Colorado. I bought about ten gold coins, and I ended up selling a few back, but for the longest time I held onto four different one ounce gold coins for a bit of diversity, and $400 worth of junk dimes that were so heavy they seemed like they were going to bust through the two paper bags they were put in when I bought them.

I had to ask why there was sales tax on gold, and I had a few other questions, but the dealer seemed a bit grumpy, yet he also seemed somehow proud of my wise decision, as I was younger than his typical customers he told me. He seemed a bit inconvenienced at my questions on how to know how much silver was in the silver dimes I was buying, and I felt like I just had to trust his math on it, which I didn't like.

Owning some gold felt super cool. I knew my dad was rich compared to me, but not even he had any gold coins. I felt special. Unique. Responsible.

I didn't realize how long I'd have to wait until gold prices would start going up. At first, gold prices continued to go down, and I was losing a bit of money on the gold that I held, but it didn't bother me too much to lose 5-10% on an investment that seemed like a sure thing.

I also felt a bit foolish because I had to pay the sales tax when I bought my gold, and you don't get that back when you sell the gold. An investor friend thought there should not be any sales tax on gold, and he's probably right, but he didn't know the law.

I thought that gold was probably a better investment than ever, but, not wanting to wait for gold prices to go up, or not knowing how long I would have to wait for gold to go up, I became impatient.

I wanted to have more money to be able to buy more gold, so I began looking for other investments. I put $5000 into a penny stock that made a sugar substitute from an herb in the Amazon, that was supposedly sold short more stock than was issued, and might be likely to go up a lot in a short squeeze. Later, I was lucky to get about $4000 out of it before the company went bankrupt! I then put $2500 into a small actively day-traded forex trading fund that was earning a steady 50% per year. I later took out about $3200 less than a year later, and I was very lucky then too, as that fund was later revealed to be a ponzi scheme!

In hindsight, I should have stuck with gold and silver!

Cody Roberts, who works with me at the JH MINT, relates his story:

I first bought silver in Sept 2008. When I bought silver for the first time I was very excited to be buying the silver. I had studied and I was fairly sure I was doing the right thing at the right time. However at the same time I was very nervous about my world. I was a civil engineer and knew that the housing bubble collapse was coming and the banks were already failing starting with Bear Sterns. Liberal Barack Obama was on the path to become president while our “conservative” president Bush was just signed the Banking relief package, which provided no relief or comfort top my fears. (Jason says: As an aside, for people with 401k's or IRA's. If you are retired, or if you quit your job, you can roll your 401k into an IRA with no penalty. You can use any brokerage, but many people open IRA's with a broker called tdameritrade.com for convenience. Once you have an IRA, your choice are not limited as they are in a company 401k. You can buy anything, any stock you want, and much more. I recommend, as short term moves, CEF or PSLV, both bullion funds. OK, it's back to Jason's story again:

I convinced my dad to buy some gold and silver, far more than I had bought. He wisely avoided the forex trading scam, as he didn't understand it. He did understand how cool and awesome it was to hold gold coins in your hands. He loved how heavy they were, how real they felt, and how they would warm up in his hands. He remarked how the gold coins were like they were a thousand times better than the most awesome stone he ever found and kept for a rock collection. They were unique. Special. Super cool.

My dad had a funny realization that he, being way more wealthy than me, did not have more gold than me. In fact, he had none. I think he felt like I had shown him up or something in some sort of competition.

And so, my dad wanted to just buy my gold from me! No sir, get your own! Ah, another one up for me!

So my dad asked me to look for a dealer where he could buy some, and we decided on mail order from one of the largest dealers in the USA, Investment Rarities. (Hint, our prices at jhmint.com are usually lower than theirs!) They delivered, in about two weeks or so. We also deliver in about 2-4 days!

It was shocking to get a package worth $10,000 in the mail, delivered incorrectly. It was sent registered, insured, signature required, but we live on a training route at the post office, and our house was the last delivery of the day for the newbies, and so, the post office goofed, and they put the package into our mail box out on the street! And we lived next to St. Anthony's Church in the Bay area, that gives out free food to homeless people who wander by our box! We were outraged at the post office, not the dealer, and I marched on into the post office demanding to see the head guy to tell him about his horrible goof, and how I never signed for it, and that if it was lost, they would be on the hook for the $10,000 loss! I chewed him out good, showed him the gold, and he was very apologetic. It felt kind of oddly powerful that a government official would take such an angry complaint, and be so apologetic and thankful, but there you go. The power of gold!

It took a few years of hard work, discussions, arguments, and persistence to get my dad fully into gold, and then, later silver. He went through many of the same emotions I did. Before he bought, he had concerns over whether it was real. He had concerns that the advertisers were telling the truth of the supply and demand factors. He finally realized that the government was lying far more than the dealers. The supply and demand numbers for silver were so positive for silver, it was almost impossible to believe the numbers!

At first after buying, my father felt a bit of elation over how easy it was to get it. And he felt that he would be able to rest easy from more of my convincing talk. "Don't confuse me with the facts, boy" he'd half-jokingly say when he wanted to shut me up. Oh how wrong he was. I only pestered him to buy more silver!

So, we next had the usual problem. Where were we supposed to put it? For a while, we began piling the silver up in the bedroom closet. We had two places, a hidden cubby above the door, way out of easy reach for a usual in/out thief, and second, underneath the dirty underwear! Next, we got a sold wooden door for the closet, with a dead bolt on it. Later, we got some custom built large gun vaults with sold steel shelving inside, designed to hold all the weight so we would not have to just stack it so high that it would crush itself all down. After getting vaults, it felt a lot more safe and secure to have the bullion all locked down, all safe and secure. We covered the vaults with tarps, and simply kept them in the garage. That was enough for my dad. He discussed having cabinets built around the vaults, but never went through with his plan.

Eventually, I had cabinets built around my vaults, and I think that's the best way to go, after you bolt them down. After all, a thief cannot steal what he doesn't know is there.

At one point, I had a lot of silver, so much, I split it up, in case of theft. I split the silver into two piles, and I had some stored in another location, on property not registered in my name, but on property I could have access to at any time. And yes, in cabinets in vaults, bolted down. After all, as a writer who advocated ownership of silver and gold, I would not want the majority of my stash around where I lived, just in case a reader of my newsletter decided to hunt me down.

The only silver that's ever been stolen from me was that which I put into the trust of other men. Do you see now, why I advocate personal responsibility, and personal ownership?

Get silver and gold, while they are available. Take responsibility for yourself. Like me, you will be glad you did. Having silver safely stored will give you peace of mind.

But the only real peace, I have found, lies in trusting God, not in gold. But until our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) Messiah (Christ) returns, guns and gold and silver will have to do.

24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma (half shekel) tax came to Peter and asked, "Doesn't your teacher pay the temple tax?"
25 "Yes, he does," he replied.
When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes -— from their own sons or from others?"
26 "From others," Peter answered.
"Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him.
27 "But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."

I have a few observations.

1. Jesus disputed this tax. He said, "The sons are exempt." As sons of God through the King of Kings, we are exempt, too. John 1:12 says: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Christians are the "sons of God" according to all of the following passages: Galatians 3:26, Romans 8:14, Philippians 2:15, Hebrews 12:7, 1 John 3:1-2.

2. This was not a secular, Rome-imposed income tax. This was a Temple tax, a religious tax, for atonement and for a memorial, and Jesus disputed even this tax.

Exodus 30:15 The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the LORD to atone for your lives.

The part of the Frank-Dodd law at issue today regulates futures and leveraged or margin accounts where you only put down part of the money, and borrow the rest. It might also affect bad industry dealers who take longer than 28 days to deliver. This will likely affect other bad dealers who offer private forms of leveraged or margined accounts for bullion.

One quick and easy way to show that gold and silver trading are not being made illegal in the USA is to watch the US Mint. As long as they continue to offer gold and silver coins for sale, then you can bet that buying US Mint products will be ok.

There is a lot of confusion out there on the internet about this, as forex.com said it will affect "over the counter" trading. In sum, the real confiscation today takes place through money printing. The us government is on pace to print a brand new $1.6 trillion this year, which is $1600 billion. They are not interested in confiscating the worldwide $30 billion of silver production; at least, not yet.

But back to today's topic: What will be the result of the new Frank-Dodd rules?

In my opinion, it looks like they are shutting down a large portion of fraudulent metals trading. The people who want to buy silver and gold are now more likely to consider buying the real things if they want exposure to rising metals prices, which will likely move prices up.

As an example, one man recently calculated that the daily trading of precious metals was 250 times as much as how much real silver is purchased for investment each year. Shutting down the paper trading means that real trading will be more likely to take up the slack.

Real silver is not a promise to pay, but rather, when you buy it, you don't have any kind of promise, but only the real thing.

Again, we ship out about 99% of our bullion sales the very same day that it's paid for by the customer. In our opinion delays are unacceptable in the bullion trade, unless you are ordering such large amounts that it has to be manufactured to your direct specifications.

What is the Federal Reserve? And why do some say we should use Constitutional money, such as silver and gold?

I'm hearing that most Americans, even in the Tea Party, don't know who the Fed is, or why we need to use silver and gold as money. This article is for them.

If you have USA paper money in your wallet, or if you have money in the bank, then you have been ripped off. Paper money in the USA used to be called "silver certificates", as recently as 1964, which was 47 years ago.

They were called silver certificates, because each "note" stated: "This certifies that there have/has been deposited in the Treasury of the United States of America (number) silver dollar(s) payable to the bearer on demand."

This turned out to be a great big lie. It was fraud. Current paper money is the evidence of the theft.

I used to call paper money an "unjust weight and measure", but paper money today is no weight and measure of anything at all. It's a broken promise to pay a devalued amount and an unjust weight of silver!

Who cares? Well, you used to be able to get a silver dollar coin for a paper silver certificate. They were equal in value, as one was a promise to deliver the silver.

Today, the price of that same silver dollar coin, containing .76/oz. of silver, costs about $30 from a coin dealer, with silver prices at $36/oz.

The paper money buys much less silver, it buys less gas, it buys less of everything today compared with prices in 1964, and about 99% less of everything than 100 years ago in 1911.

The Federal Reserve was created in 1913. They got a 100 year charter that expires in 2012! Congressmen and Tea Party activists ought to seriously reconsider the Fed's charter very carefully right now!

Right after 1913, the USA had funding to fight in World War One, and then suffered the false bubble economy of the "roaring 20s" bull market in stocks which, when it popped, led to the great depression in the 1930s, followed by World War Two in the 40s.

After WWII, the US paper dollar became the world reserve currency, which helped to effectively loot the productivity of the rest of the world. Well, we did win the "world" war, and the world became the spoils of the war. The rest of the world's central banks began accumulating paper dollars, instead of gold.

This theft of the world's assets was both good and bad for the USA. Good, because the USA can simply print the money to send to the other nations in return for real assets such as oil, machines, food, clothing, or whatever. But it's bad, because our nation got addicted to the benefits of the false and inflated values of free paper money, and grew lazy, and we forgot that the benefits and bounty of freedom are greater than the benefits of a free lunch paid for by slaves.

Today, we are still free to go into the market and buy physical silver, and let me tell of this wonderful opportunity in silver.

To create this paper money world in which we live, the world's bankers launched a propaganda and education war against silver first, and then gold, to prevent their use as money. This war dates back to the late 1860's. They succeeded, as no nation on earth uses silver as money. Reduced monetary demand has reduced the value for silver, making it an attractive and cheap investment.

Then, by the end of WWII, the age of electronics began, and the use of silver as a conductor of electricity in all sorts of electrical devices simply exploded, about ten times as much as previously. Modern nations use about 3/4 of an ounce of silver, per person, per year, in industrial applications.

Today, world industry consumes about 600 million ounces of silver per year. Industry consumes nearly all of world mine supply, leaving only recycled silver, only about 200 million ounces, available for investment demand. This scarcity of silver makes it an even more attractive investment.

The bankers of the world have not cornered the market on silver. The exact opposite happened. They tried to make silver as cheap as possible, by not buying it themselves, and trying to divert investment demand away from the metal where ever and when ever they could.

For example, any time any of the clients of any of the major western LBMA (London Bullion Market Association) banks wanted to buy silver, the banks said, "sure", and opened up silver and gold accounts for their clients, without going out to buy and store the actual metal, yet they charged their clients storage fees. This created, according to the BIS (the Bank of International Settlements) a "gold and silver" liability that is up to about $600 billion in gold, and about $200 billion in silver. That's about 6 years worth of world mine annual production of gold, and about 10 year's worth of annual production of silver. That's silver and gold that the major banks owe their clients, and never bought in the real market, to help suppress prices, and prop up paper money.

Another way that banks suppress silver prices includes offering investment-grade sized silver certificates (not paper money), as they do in Canada and Australia even today.

But when they offer bullion accounts, or certificates, those trade in a non-transparent way, as they don't create price quotes, and it's difficult to find information on how much bullion fraud has taken place.

The main way that the banks manipulate the prices of silver and gold is through the futures markets that generate minute by minute price quotes that other industry players such as refiners and miners and large bullion wholesalers must look to in order to conduct business to buy and sell silver and gold.

Futures markets are price manipulative and price suppressive because the sellers offer far more silver than they have, and they offer silver on the worst possible terms and conditions.

They offer to sell up to 800 million ounces of silver, on paper, over a year, when they only have about 30 million oz. of silver in their vaults ready for delivery. Why then, do people buy paper silver? The lure of greed through leverage. You can put only about 10-15% of the money down to buy silver, and thus, if silver prices double, you can earn 1000% on your investment, instead of 100%.

But what honest industrial participant needs silver "a month or so from now" for delivery at some vague time within a whopping 30 day time period, and in the form of a bulky 1000 oz. bar that is particularly difficult to ship by mail or even melt down? I won't even bother ordering any silver from any supplier who will take even 21 days to ship it out. I expect my suppliers to ship out silver the next day, like we do, or maybe at the most, a week after I wire them the money.

The modern way to keep people away from buying and taking delivery of real silver is to offer silver in the form of an "Exchange Traded Fund" or ETF, such as SLV, which can be bought or sold as easily as a share of a stock in a company like Microsoft. Recently, it was pointed out that the modern forms of paper silver, such as the futures markets and ETF's traded an entire year's worth of silver production in a single day. I don't think that would be possible unless there was a massive amount of fraud taking place, instead of any real delivery of real silver taking place, but that's just my opinion, of course.

Real silver is real freedom.

All forms of paper silver are like slavery; the paper virtually enslaves the promising party, the seller, to deliver and perform for the promised party, the buyer. But the promises are often broken, especially when entities promise to deliver many more times worth of gold and silver than flows in the world on an annual basis.

The slavery is bad. Defrauding others is bad.

But real silver creates real freedom.

A real understanding and commitment to own and trade real silver also destroys the power of governments to steal from the people through the Federal Reserve's monopoly power to print money, which devalues people's money.

The paper money in your pocket (formerly silver certificates) is the best evidence and reminder that promises to deliver silver are always created to excess, for the purpose of fraud.

Think: What kind of business is it, if you can take people's money, and never have to deliver the underlying product? That's what banking is.

Buying real physical silver from a coin shop, like www.jhmint.com, helps to reveal the fraud of paper money, and thus end it. Buying silver, is a rejection of paper money which destroys the Fed, destroys taxation, and destroys tyrannical governments.

Why silver?

For over 100 years, silver has been demonetized -- meaning, silver is no longer used as money, which reduces demand, which has reduced value, which makes it a perfect undervalued asset.

For over 66 years, since the end of WWII, silver has been consumed in industry, mostly in electronics, to the point that most of the silver ever mined in all of human history has been consumed. This reduction and consumption of supply has made silver more rare, and has created a potential natural monopoly for those who buy silver now.

The world mines just under 10 times as much silver, as gold, each year, suggesting a price ratio of 10:1, showing silver may perform 4 times better than gold, given the current price ratio of 41:1.

In sum, the silver market remains very tiny, for billionaires. World silver mine production is about 700 million oz., yet industrial consumption of silver in over 10,000 different applications continues to increase faster than mine supply.

World investment demand, which is a small portion of overall demand, has vastly increased, but remains a tiny 250 million oz., which, at $40/oz., is a relatively tiny $10 billion, tiny in the scale of world finance.

By the time even a tiny 1% of U.S. paper money tries to buy silver to protect itself from inflation, that would be $180 billion dollars (1% of $18 trillion), or 18 times as much investment money went into silver last year.

Finally, the silver price has risen enough so that a billionaire now actually can buy $1 billion in real, physical, silver bullion.

But the logistics of buying that much will remain difficult. At $40/oz., that would be 25 million oz., which will weigh 1.7 million pounds, or 865 tons. Or, 865 massive truck loads. That's a lot of truck loads of silver, and a lot of fork lifting that needs to get done, and the construction of the vault needed to store all of that needs to get started on immediately.

To put 25 million ounces of silver into perspective, that is also about two and a half times as much silver as was produced by the US mint each year on average, which used to be only 10 million oz., until just the last few years where the US mint is on pace to produce about 35 - 40 million oz. this year.

Warning: Don't store your silver with any bankers or brokers, not anywhere in the world, not even Swiss bankers. And don't buy any ETF silver, either. Why not?

The BIS, the Bank of International Settlements, has a report showing that world bankers are short, or in other words, have silver liabilities, or owe other people or entities, up to $130 billion to $203 billion worth of silver. This is an admission of fractional reserve silver banking, and it's fraud. (Recently, the $203 billion number was revised down to $107 billion, after I began publishing links to their report!)

This BIS report is perhaps the best evidence of the biggest admitted fraud in the entire world. No conspiracy "theory" is needed. This is what the big boys themselves admit freely in their own reports!

This silver debt cannot be paid back easily, if ever. As I mentioned, the world only mines 700 million oz. per year, which, at $40/oz., is only $28 billion. The world banks owe many years of world production of silver, more than could be obtained on the world markets.

Again, it will be very difficult to acquire $1 billion worth of silver, let alone up to $123 billion to $200 billion that the bankers owe.

Good luck trying to outperform silver!

Against this backdrop of the excellent fundamentals of silver, the United States is printing money like crazy, and the rest of the world is racing to print even more.

Last month, when the news was covering the potential government shutdown, while Democrats and Republican budgets were bickering over a mere $30 billion, while the US government is actually spending a whopping $1,600 billion more than they are taking in, the public woke up.

Most things in the world have a horrible price spread, that is, a wide price between the buy and sell prices.

Silver and gold are the things to buy. What else is there? Copper? Plastic forks? Laptop computers that will be obsolete in a year or two? Food? No. No. No. And yes, maybe $10,000 for food, or enough for a year or so, enough to protect your life, but it won't protect your wealth.

Silver and gold are real money, even if they are not currently being used as a medium of exchange. In fact, their lack of use as a medium of exchange make them an even better store of value, because you are buying them prior to when the price goes much higher in value when everyone else will need to buy them to protect from inflation.

Soon, the government will need to discuss raising the debt ceiling. That debate will be in the news for a few weeks. People will, again, flock to silver.

Soon, the government will need to discuss a quantitative easing III, because QEII will run out in June, 2011, if it has not run out already. People, again, will flock to silver.

You will not beat the public to the punch, you are already a bit late to the party, and you will be lucky to get silver below $100/oz.

Why? Because the tipping point has already been reached.

Harold Camping's ministry and followers reportedly spent up to $100 million to warn the world that the rapture would come on the 21st. Today, it's the 23rd, and Camping and his followers are still here. I feel bad for them, as I also once tried to predict the rapture, way back in September 11th, 1999, and I spammed usenet to preach it! So, I know a bit of their disappointment. I still believe that the rapture will happen at the end of the world, at the beginning of the day of the Lord, before the 7 year tribulaion. Here's what the Bible says about false prophets:

Deut 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Ezek. 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

It's a good thing that we false prophets can have forgiveness through Jesus!

Some Christians fear that the recent false prophecy of the rapture ruins the Bible's and God's credibility. No, it helps it! How? Because false prophets are a actually sign of the end times, and they will probably increase just like earthquakes, wars, and famines!

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Also, I do believe that someday, prophets will accurately predict the Lord's return.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Mark 4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

But it won't be by gematria. But rather, truth is established by 2-3 witnesses.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Thus, no prophecy will hang on a vague interpretation of one verse somewhere, but truth will be established by 2-3 scriptures, and many Christian denominations all embracing the truth that will be revealed.

We should never say, "we will never know when the Lord will return", because not knowing is a punishment for not watching and a punishment for being an evil servant of the Lord.

Revelation 3:3 "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."

Luke 12:39 "And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through."

Mat 24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
Mat 24:49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
Mat 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Mat 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

If not knowing the time of the Lord's return is a specific punishment that applies to those who "shall not watch", or the "evil servants", then it seems this punishment could not apply to God's good servants who are watching.

Even the foolish virgins of Matthew 25:1-13 who will not be saved, will know the general time to prepare and get ready for the Lord's return.

8   And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

10   And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11   Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12   But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13   Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

If, therefore, the unsaved foolish virgins can know the time of the Lord's return, why wouldn't God's wise prophets know?

Thus, I believe one day, God's prophets will know the time of the Lord's return.

In fact, there are several things that have to happen first, in my opinion, before the pre-tribulation rapture.

Specifically, I believe the world will highly value silver and gold, and that the wealth of the world, in silver and gold, will be concentrated to Israel, as the Bible specifically says! How hard is it to believe something written with such specificity, plainness and redundancy?

Zechariah 14:14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected — great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.

Ezekiel 38:13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages[e] will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?”’

If silver and gold are considered the wealth of the nations, then it appears to me that the world will highly value silver and gold, and be using them as money, at the time of the end.

It appears to me that the invasion of Israel from the north mentioned in Ezekiel 38 will be exactly the right pretext for the Antichrist to come on the scene and blame silver and gold for the world's problems, and usher in his anti-gold solution of the 666 mark of the beast for tracking all economic transactions.

The antichrist also is described as the "8th beast" in Revelation 17-18. His world government implies that there will be another world government that comes before it, the "7th beast". That, to me, implies a world government will exist prior to the rapture.

Both a world government, and the use of gold and silver as money, implies another important thing: World peace, which is also a feature of Ezekiel 38, specifically, that Israel is living at peace. Three times, Israel is mentioned as living in peace and safety.

Ezekiel 38:8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.

Ezekiel 38:10 “‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11 You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.

Ezekiel 38:14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it?

Israel has never been at peace since the modern nation was founded. Military service is mandatory for all people of young age.

Paul, when writing about the rapture, in 1 Thessalonians chapters 4-5, mentions this peace and safety that is followed by the sudden destruction, and connects this with the rapture and the return of the Lord. There is only one time in the entire Hebrew Scriptures that describes a time when the people are experiencing and saying peace and safety, which is followed by sudden destruction, and it's Ezekiel 38. This passage also alludes to the fact that the timing of these events will be known to the followers of God.

1 Thessalonians 5

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

The time for the rapture was just not ready today.

Today, Israel is not living in peace and safety, as it will.

Today, the world does not highly value silver and gold. But it will.

Get ready. Buy silver and gold.

This will also help Christians to prepare for the Great Commission, to spend the money to take the gospel to the nations.

Involuntary bankruptcy is a court process by which a debtor’s creditors can bring a bankruptcy petition to a federal court to restructure the business of the debtor corporation (Chapter 11), or even liquidate the debtor corporation’s assets (chapter 7).

Consider: The Feds would generally like any excuse to liquidate the assets of a deadbeat especially a bullion dealer.

One cannot bring an involuntary bankruptcy proceeding against a bank, insurance company, or stock/commodities broker.

Section 303 of the Bankruptcy Code requires only the following:

1. To file an involuntary bankruptcy proceeding under Chapter 7 or Chapter 11, the target company (or individual) must owe at least $13,475 in unsecured debt - THAT'S ALL!!! This amount is indexed and will increase from year to year, but for 2011, that's the number.

2. If there are at least 12 unsecured creditors, then at least three (3) must join in the petition. If there are fewer than twelve creditors, then a single creditor is all that is required.

3. The unsecured creditors joining in the bankruptcy petition must have a claim that is not EITHER (A) "contingent as to liability"; or (B) "the subject of bona fide dispute". If you have ordered silver from a firm, and there's been no dispute about your order, you're probably qualified to file, even if you don't have a judgment yet.

4. There must be appropriate indications of financial distress as demonstrated by one of two ways, the pertinent one being the debtor company is not paying bona fide debts as they come due. In other words, if your order is late, you can file.

In step 3 we see that there must not be a “dispute” of the debt. When the company agrees with you that they owe you money, there is no dispute, and you can file. If the amount of the debt is in dispute then parties must sue in a personal injury claim. If after the suit the debtor is still not paying, then involuntary bankruptcy may be a remedy.

The only remedy in Federal Court is a judgement in the form of Federal Reserve Notes. Plus, you may also be able to recover attorney's fees, and punative damages.

As with any lawsuit, a legal case can get very complex and can have many issues that one does not expect. One should always consult an attorney before committing to legal actions.

In fact, it may only be necessary to have an attorney draft a letter of your intent to file involuntary bankruptcy, to inspire prompt payment to you.

1. No nation on earth is using silver as a circulating medium of exchange. The State of Utah is leading the way by making it legal tender.

2. All nations on earth are using paper for money, which is about as wise as building houses out of straw. The amount of paper money is uncountable, and is constantly soaring to new highs. The USA stopped reporting the amounts of money in the banks back in 2006, and the banks in 2008 started depositing a lot of their bailout money with the Fed banks, making it even harder to track. All of that marks the beginning of hyperinflation, which appears to be starting now.

3. The Federal annual deficit, which is how much they spent more than they took in, is $1.66 trillion, or $830 billion for the first half of fiscal 2011. Does that count QEII? What was not counted in that? How reliable are the figures? If the figures are wrong, are the real figures likely to be bigger or smaller, and by how much?

4. The silver market remains tiny. "World investment rose by an impressive 40 percent last year to 279.3 million troy ounces (Moz), resulting in a net flow into silver of $5.6 billion, almost doubling 2009’s figure." How reliable are the figures?

Which one is bigger? Which one is smaller?

What is likely to change?
What is likely to stay the same?

If the US government spends new paper money that it does not have, is that inflationary? Will that make the new dollars tend to go down in value? If so, by how much?

Are silver prices likely to go up, as new money buys silver to protect itself? In your opinion, much new money will be likely to buy silver next year? How much do you think the silver price will continue to be driven up, in the next year, by such buying?

Is the US government likely to suddenly balance the budget by next year, or will the spending like a drunken sailor be likely to continue?

If you convince your friends to buy silver, are they more likely to thank you, or not, as certain trends and fundamentals continue?
